Why the Owner Chose Cathedral City
This was my escape from work and the busy life in Los Angeles. A serene and quiet place to unwind amid palm trees with the majestic San Gorgonio Mountains in the background. Safe and secure neighbourhood to walk, bike,with tennis courts, gym, swimming pool and golf course within walking distance. Once energized,exciting downtown Palm Springs with restaurants, shops is 10 minutes by car. I live in the desert, yet I still return to this condominium when I want to relax and spend a quiet weekeend.

As this was our first visit to the Palm Springs area, and the first time we rented a condo, we were extremely pleased with the outcome. The condo was exactly as described and the photos are accurate. I am very, very particular about our accommodation and this condo measured up very well. It was spotlessly clean, the decor had been modernized with updated appliances, the king sized bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having two bathrooms. The condo was fully self contained and equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable stay. The owner left her beautiful collection of SW vases, wall hangings, bowls, etc. for us to enjoy. We loved sitting on the private patio (on either side of the patio were beautiful, healthy trees, one with delicious grapefruit!!) every morning watching the birds & golfers. We played every hole of this course and this condo is in a very desirable location, away from stray golf balls & the players, but close enuff to enjoy watching the players on the beautifully manicured fairway. We were extremely impressed with the ongoing maintenance of the entire grounds, and it shows, as the entire property is absolutely immaculate. The condo/villa complex owners/renters are very proud of their complex and this pride is reflected in the atmosphere & attitude of the people at the complex. One couple said this was their 14th year "snowbirding" and they would not go elsewhere to rent. We also really liked Cathedral City as it is not too busy but provides quick and easy access to all the major tourist attractions & other areas. We are making plans to return to Desert Princess Resort next winter.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Would definitely recommend this property to anyone. It was neat, clean, tastefully furnished, beautiful view, private and in close proximity to many P.Springs amenities. The listing description is very accurate and the free long distance to Canada, and internet, a real bonus. We found the owner to be an absolute delight . She was here to greet and welcome us with a beautiful bouquet of fresh cut flowers and accomodating in every way. Would definitely stay here again, and plan to do so.
