Nestled in a quiet cove surrounded by beautiful mountains, minutes from downtown Andrews, NC, you will find Wicklow Cottage. Enjoy the peace and serenity that can only be found in the Carolinas. And just minutes away from our Andrews, NC cottage, you can enjoy mountain biking, golf, fly fishing, horseback riding, scenic drives, shopping, and white water rafting adventures on the nearby Ocoee or Nantahala rivers.

Wicklow is an Andrews, North Carolina cabin-style getaway that combines the amenities of a bed and breakfast with the privacy of cabin lodging. Don't worry about rushing to the grocery store on arrival. A continental breakfast will be waiting for you on your first day. To make your stay more enjoyable, we provide you with a half-gallon milk and juice, butter, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, hot cocoa, coffee, and special treats. We want you to feel pampered, so we pride ourselves in the little details. You will find Bath & Body Works products for you to indulge. And yes, we provide plenty of soaps, shampoos, papertowels, laundry and dish detergents. You will find a mini library and plenty of games to entertain yourself or the kids!

The cottage has a spacious feel with 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and 2 family rooms, both featuring large flat panel cable TV with DVD. Sunshine fills the upstairs living area by day, and the large stone firepit and adirondack chairs afford cozy nights by the fire. The fully equiped kitchen features oven, stove, refrigerator, large microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker and additional small appliances. The antique farmhouse dining table with handmade bench and Windsor style chairs can seat up to eight. You have everything you need to prepare a homemade family feast.

  • We had the privilege of staying at the Wicklow Cottage during Christmas of 2008. The cottage is clean, cozy and beautifully furnished with plenty of room for a large family. The owners Robin and April are friendly and hospitable, they were so kind as to decorate the cottage for the holiday. The grounds of the cottage are spacious and provided plenty of area for us to relax, explore, hike, fish, and play. The children enjoyed visitng and feeding the donkeys and playing with the dogs Mason and Emma. We recommend this cottage to everyone looking for a great place to stay and relax.   • First, let me say that Robin and April are the best! We felt like we were staying with old friends and not strangers. We had the cabin rented for two weeks and at the highest point had 9 people staying there with no chance of running out of room. The kitchen was great and loaded with everything you would need to cook anything. Plenty of space for the vehicles and trailers. Loved the quietness around and leading up to the cabin. When you sit outside you do NOT hear freeway noise or the neighbors like in the city. The setup of the cabin was perfect, from the food already there when you arrive to the owners manuals for the TV's and other items left in the cabin. Even the rooms were large and inviting with nice beds and bedding. The split level design of the cabin was awesome with two ways to get into it. AC and Heat can be controled for each level independently of the other which helps keep the warm and cold natured people happy. We are planning on a trip to this area each year and will be returning to this cabin to hang out with Robin and April in the near future. Thanks for making our vacation perfect.

  • Not only was our vacation one of the most memorable that we have had in recent years, it was also the most enjoyable. Robin and April's wonderful hospitality and graciousness was like spending the day with friends and they went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was the best that it could be. The furnishings and cottage were incredible and the fact that it was also pet friendly just added to the attraction. The woodlands surrounding the cottage was so peaceful and the private drive was the perfect place for my husband to take his morning jogs. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and of course loved feeding the donkeys. (Just ask my 3 year old) Overall, I would recommend Wicklow Cottage to anyone. It is easily accessible for young and old and we are looking forward to our return visit next spring. Thank you so much Robin and April for giving us the much needed relaxation that we all needed!
