This is an ideal vacation spot with something for everyone.
Our third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds that will comfortably sleep 4-6 children. Full bathrooms on both floors. Televisions in each bedroom and a cozy family room with fireplace has a television and entertainment center. Skiers are especially welcome!

Why the Owner Chose Lake Harmony
We purchased our vacation rental at Split Rock because of the countless activities and complete peace and quiet. In the morning we enjoy long walks around the lake before breakfast at Bellago or Terra Cottage. Our sons love the water park, lake area and kayaks. Our extended family often visits and this gives us a chance to be together and just relax or take advantage of the many activities the area has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The best thing about this property is that there is something for everyone. The house is located in a quiet, scerene area where deer, wild turkeys and other wild life visit regularly. You can enjoy the view from the large deck off the back or from a rocking chair on the cozy second floor balcony. Children are always entertained by the water park, kayak/canoe/paddle boat rentals, miniature golf and large community park (basketball, horseshoes, shuffle board). A public golf course is also available within the community.
We are less than 5 minutes from either Jack Frost,Big Boulder, and Hickory Run State Park, and 15 minutes from Camelback Mountain. The Crossings shopping outlet is less than 15 minutes away and Mt. Airy Lodge's casino and wonderful restaurants is even closer. The Pocono Raceway is also conveniently located to the community.
Many restaurants are close by, including the lake front Italian Bellago - great views. And for the adults, there is a fun beach bar just outside.
If you are interested in a cozy night at home, we have a gas fireplace, large dining table and comfortable family room with an entertainment center. We also have a firepit for marshmallow roasting and a charcoal grill for cookouts.

Steven and Lynn Fleisher and their two sons reside in the Philadelphia area. They own two small businesses - Steve is a chiropractor and Lynn is an attorney. Our family enjoys activities like skiing, boating, fishing, hiking and bike riding. The boys enjoy more rigorous sports like basketball, lacrosse and skateboarding.

Great house with ample space in a perfect location. The kitchen area, dining and family room were so relaxing after a day of tennis. All the rooms were clean, and nicely furnished. We loved the moose over the firelpace! We even had 4 inches of snow while we were there....perfect way to end the stay with tubing at Big Boulder 5 mins away!

We rented the house for the month of July and had a nice time. The house is comfortable, clean and in a nice location. It is close to the beach and is very private with a nice backyard. The only problem we encountered was that we were told (by beach patrol and a realtor in the resort) that we could not use the beach or any other amenities since we did not have badges or members of the resort. I found this very odd and called Lynn and she stated that we were only allowed on the grassy area of the lake that the general public uses. She instructed us to ask the security guards for directions on how to get to the grassy area. She also recommended that we go to Hickory State Park to use the lake and send us directions to the park via email. We asked several guards where the grassy area was and they did not know what we were talking about. This was upsetting since we rented a "lake house" to go to the lake and beach and we come find out that we could not use the lake. It was very confusing and aggravating. We finally went into the lodge and explained our story to the girl at the front desk.She stated that the owners of the house need to buy badges for their renters so they could use the beach and any amenities at the resort. She wrote out a day pass that we had to pay four dollars per pass ($16.00) for four. As we stood there stunned, she must have felt sorry for us because she handed us four badges and told us we could use them. Beach Patrol came around everyday asking for badges. After obtaining the badges we enjoyed the lake and the beach and had a nice vacation.
Owner response:We apologize for anything that was unclear about the beach. The listing identifies all amenities that are available to renters and the beach is not listed. Unfortunately, Split Rock only allows owners to purchase guest passes when they accompany the guests. So happy to hear that the Lodge employee was accomodating and that you enjoyed your vacation!

Just stayed here on memorial day with the family and they had a blast. The house is walking distance from the beach and the lodge, all part of split rock resort. The pictures do this house no justice, totally amazing when you get there.

We are so excited to be coming back in August for another week. Last year was just terrific. The house is so comfortable and it accommodated 12 of us perfectly! It was convenient to everything but so private. My nephews loved the waterpark, miniature golf, ice cream parlor, and the nearby lake at the park. Us "grownups" liked the hiking, golfing options, and nearby restaurants. Just walking around the neighborhood after dinner was lovely.

My family and I stayed here this week and had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and well funished. We had everything we needed. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. Waterpark was great - kids were entertained for hours. We will definitely stay again.
