Thank you for one of the most memorable family reunions we have ever had. This home is so welcoming and family friendly - just what we needed with 7 little ones. We spent our days relaxing on the great lawn, viewing the river, rafting and fishing. The large concrete pad was the perfect place for our little ones to rides bikes, and made a great spot for some friendly family competitions. And to complete our day, the fire pit for evening visiting and lots of laughing together. The home owners are the best and we can't wait to come back and celebrate with family in this very special place. Thank you again for opening your beautiful home for the rest of us to enjoy.

Heaven in Featherville

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Featherville. As one of the sororities on campus at Boise State, Alpha Xi Delta easily slept in this large home. We had about 40 young women and we were all over the house! This house was totally clean and very comfortable and "homey". Our favorite part of our stay was definitely the creek behind the house and the firepit. The fire pit was so convenient and we loved using it to make Smores! It was so easy to get a hold of Mike & Sheri too! We hopefully plan on staying here next semester for our retreat :) We loved this house so much! Everyone loved it. I would definitely recommend this for anyone! It is an amazing place.

We decided at the last minute to get away for the weekend with some friends. This was exactly what we needed. It was well stocked with everything we needed including stuffed animals for my daughter to play with. The view and sounds of the river out the back yard and the fire pit with for roasting smores was all part of this wonderful experience. It was very well kept and clean. The owners were great to work with and we were sad to leave. My wife asked, when can we come back? Thanks!

Thank you for letting us enjoy your home. It was very comfortable. The river the lake the freindly people. Featherville and Pine are truely a mountain paradise. We had a big group and everyone was comfortable and cozy. Hope to come stay in the winter next time.

We were fortunate enough to spend almost a week with two other families in this breathtaking, luxurious cabin! The minute we walked in the door, we knew we made the perfect decision. This cabin is not only fabulous, but the panoramic views are amazing. There is so much to do and see here, both inside the cabin and outdoors. You can fish right on the river from your own backyard or close-by at the bride, float the river…which was so much fun and also one of the FUNNIEST times we had had in a long time, and go hiking and biking on trails with surroundings that take your breath away. We loved relaxing in the natural hot springs and swimming and playing tennis at the Elk Valley Lodge. My husband and I would also kick back and enjoy the calming sounds of the river... there is nothing quite like it. Night games were a big hit! The kids would run and play on the soft lush grass laughing and having a ball. The cabin also has a huge, extended cement pad where they have a basketball standard and lots of sports equipment for constant entertainment. One night many of the adults sat outside around the fire pit and talked, roasted marshmallows, and ate s’mores. The stars were amazing! Just trying to do all the great things outdoors kept us plenty busy, but our kids loved having a spacious game room inside to play and have a fun time. (The game room door keeps all the action shut off from the rest of the cabin ?) While the kids were playing in the game room, the adults could eat, play games, talk, eat some more, play more games, and then eat some more… nothing better than that! Meals were so fun to prepare with the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. The high-end grill is the best thing we have ever experienced! The separate loft has a Foosball game, kid’s toys and books that made the kids feel so comfortable and welcome. There is also lots of space there for sleeping. (The cabin provides extra thick sleeping pads, which is a bonus!) This beautiful home has obviously been well maintained and decorated with an eye for comfort, love and warmth. We have already been planning our next visit there. It was very difficult to leave and there were many tears…both kids and adults. We have rented many vacation rentals before, but never have we interacted with anyone so friendly on the phone and who was as eager to have their guests have an excellent experience. We give this cabin a 5-Star rating for location, quality & friendly owners. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous home with us. The view is just stunning. The quiet except for the rush of the river and the call of the birds was just what we needed. The house was extremely comfortable, with the toys, the swing set and the lawn...the kids couldn't have been happier. Sheri.. we loved your home cooked food, so overall it was just the R & R we needed! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

We had the most wonderful getaway. All of us had an incredible vacation, kids and adults. Plenty of room and view was spectacular. We can't wait to come again.
