This luxury home is the perfect place to come relax after an adventurous day in the Canadian Rockies. This 2700 square foot executive home is located on Canmore's sunny side. Just one hour from the Calgary airport, this fully furnished, fully appointed Eagle Terrace home will accomodate up to 10 people. On the top floor there is a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a king size bed. The main floor has a full bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one has a queen bed and the other has a double bottom/single top bunk and a separate single bed. The lower/walk out level has a bar with a sink and fridge, a queen bottom/double top bunk and a futon. There is also a crib, 2 play pens & 2 highchairs to accommodate those with small children. All of the beds are custom made log beds with down duvets.
The 8 person indoor hot tub and full bathroom with a steam shower on the lower level is always a guest favorite. There is a TV and DVD player on each floor, cordless telephone, wireless internet, and extensive programming on the satellite TV. There is a front loading washer and dryer on the main floor, iron, and ironing board. There is also a park pass for our guests to use for free entry into Banff National Park during their stay.
This home features a wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings, hardwood, tile, granite and stainless throughout. The huge front deck has a beautiful view of the Three Sisters mountains as well as a gas barbecue, patio furniture, and a propane heater. The gourmet kitchen has a gas stove and is equipped with all the essentials as well as many extras such as a blender, grill, sandwich maker, waffle maker, vegetable steamer, and extra dishes to accommodate large groups. The living room not only has beautiful leather furniture, but also has a huge bean bag that is always a hit with kids.
For the outdoor enthusiast, mountain biking, hiking trails, and rock climbing are just 5 minutes away on foot. You can be at the base of Sunshine Village in 25 minutes and Lake Louise in 45 minutes. There are three other ski resorts that can be accessed in about 30 minutes, Nakiska, Norquay, and Fortress. The Canmore Nordic center ( 1988 Olympic Games ) is a 10 minute drive and has miles of trails to choose from. If golf is your sport, you can be at Silvertip Golf, Stewart Creek, and Canmore golf courses in under 10 minutes. Banff Springs and Kananaskis Golf courses are a 25 and 40 minute drive.
Only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from bustling downtown Canmore with it's shopping and world class restaurants. In 20 minutes you can be downtown Banff.
The new Iron Goat Pub and Summit Cafe are a short 5 minute walk away. There is also a playground, a soccer field, and tobogganing hill within 1 block.
