The listing description was accurate and the building centrally located. The property and unit was clean and well maintained. The pool was always clean and pool chairs available. The furniture was very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. This unit’s location gave us a great view of the gulf from either of the balconies, and there were plenty of chairs and chaise lounges to use. The beach was very clean and easily accessible. This unit is a great value for the money. The owner was easy to work with, helpful and eager to make our stay comfortable. I would certainly recommend this unit to friends and family. There are many “fried sea food” restaurants in the area. We chose to seek out restaurants that the locals went to, and we were not disappointed. Three that stood out were Tin Top Restaurant in Bon Secour (a 20 minutes’ drive), Nolan’s Restaurant (on Hwy 59 – about 5 minutes’ drive) and Villaggio Grille in the Wharf in Orange Beach (about 20 minutes’ drive). A fun place to check out is Flora-Bama, it’s about a 20 minute drive, right on the Florida/Alabama state line. Be sure to order a BUSHWACKER (alcoholic beverage) it’s a winner!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a great place! Owner was very easy to work with and helped us out with "Hangout" traffic before we even arrived. The unit was clean and better than expected. My wife, the three kids and I had plenty of room. Right on the beach, great price, and great size compared to all of the highrises on the beach. My 3 year-old loved the sand buckets (aka - crab houses) that were provided. The beach chairs and umbrellas were a welcomed addition. We will be returning to this condo. Thank you for sharing your place with our family. Make sure to try the local seafood markets and The Original Oyster House for food.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This was our second visit to Gulf Shores and we've stayed in this townhome both times. My wife and I love everything about it: quiet, peaceful, right on the beach but never crowded, etc. The townhome is well kept and we really appreciate the provided chairs & umbrellas. This is probably going to become our annual vacation destination and I can only hope we get to stay here every time. The owner is quick to respond to any problems. During our stay the cable went out - within the hour he responded to my email after speaking with neighbors and the local cable provider. We can't say enough positive things about our two stays but hopefully this helps - next year, we're planning our trip based on availability of this unit! The unit was clean when we arrived and reflected the pictures on the VRBO website. The owner promptly responded to questions we had which prevented us from planning activities that were not viable. The washer/dryer was a useful feature of the unit. Easy, close access to the beach, without elevators, was a real plus. The grass courtyard was a nice feature and the pool was good sized and well maintained. In short, we had a great time and would highly recommend the unit to others. As an aside, we enjoyed visiting Alligator Alley in Summerdale—it was worth the half hour drive. Also, we found the zoo miniature golf delightful and more enjoyable than the modern designs with their pirate ships, etc.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a wonderful week's stay at this lovely townhome! It was everything we were looking for and needed. Right on the beach, quiet, kid friendly, and definitely a value! Beats any high-rise resort. The owner was definitely a pleasure to deal with.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My family and I had such a wonderful week in this Condo. It was clean, had a beautiful view. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony early morning and in the evening. The pool was nice and always clean. The grounds were well taken care of and very clean. My Mom, Daughter and Grandson felt very safe. The beach was gorgeous and we had plenty of chairs and umbrellas to use. We found everything in order and it was in such a convenient area. The owner was so good to work with. He was always available and prompt to answer any and all questions. We are already planning to make this an annual "Family" get together!! Thanks!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had an amazing time at this townhouse. This was our first beach vacation as a married couple & also our daughters first trip to the beach. It feels very quiet & private which was perfect for my 2 year old daughter. All of the furniture was very updated & clean. The owner was such a nice person and he helped us out with any questions we had before & throughout our vacation. We loved our stay at Gulfside Townhomes, and we cant wait to book again for next years vacation!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We chose this site for our stay mainly because we wanted more privacy than a large hotel/resort, but we also wanted to be right on the beach. You can't find a better place in Gulf Shores! The unit was very clean and matched the description perfectly. I was a little apprehensive about how the view from the room would be but it was actually much closer than the picture makes it seem. We had no problems with anything in the unit and enjoyed it so much we're definitely going to go back - hopefully we can stay in the same unit!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This property was clean and well maintained. The view of the beach is great. It is a great location to restaurants and shopping yet quiet and peaceful. The pool is nice size and plenty of tables and lounge chairs. The chairs provided came in handy for the beach. We did make good use of the grill that is provided. We walked to Bahama Bob's for dinner one night and the food was not good and over priced. I would not recommend it. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that are great places to eat, our personal favorite is The Original Oyster House, the food is excellent and moderately priced. There is a wide variety of restaurants about 15 mins from Gulf Shores at Foley. There is also a large outlet mall with some great stores to shop at. The owners are very nice, helpful and worked with us on the dates we wanted to stay. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a good priced, good location place to stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Hi, We just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed the condo and the Gulf Shores area. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The condo was in a great location within walking distance to some restaurants and stores and was also in a great location to the beach. We loved that within 100 steps from the condo we were on the beach which was not overcrowded. The kids loved using the boogie boards and you had plenty of beach chairs for our family of 5! We had a great time in your condo. The weather was perfect, the condo was awesome, and the owner’s were very helpful. The beaches were clean, no oil anywhere. The condo was beautifully decorated, clean, and stocked with everything that you need for a perfect vacation. The photos do not show any justice to this condo, it’s even better in person. The unit was quiet and private. The pool is huge and great for kids and adults. The neighbor’s at the complex are nice and friendly. You have to see this condo to appreciate it. The rates are great too. We have already asked for rates for next year. We will be back for sure. I give this condo and the owner’s 5 stars. Beautiful condo with a family friendly location.Just returned home and already planning to come back in the spring.Beaches were clean and the oysters fresh.Highly recommended.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time. The unit was ultra clean, everything worked. (You do have a broken door shelf in the fridge, but you told me you had a replacement coming). The beach was lovely till the last two days when some tar balls started coming in. We loved having the use of the umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and the inner tube! We will definitely return. Clean, new furnishings....a delightful little complex. A surprise to us was unusually high quality kitchen gear. Not that we spent all our time cooking, but usually there is low quality cookware and utensils. Huge pool, but it was too cool for us to enjoy it.
