Cozy and comfortable custom built family home on the 12th fairway of the Meadows (South) Golf Course. 2400 square feet, 2 queen bedrooms, 1 double bunk room and 2 bathrooms up, 1 queen bedroom and bathroom down.
It's a short walk across the fairway to the The Village Mall where you'll find restaurants, the grocery store and a variety of shops. A brisk 30 minute walk via the meadow and airport (that's the long way...only 10 minutes the short way!) and you'll find yourself at the Sunriver Lodge.
After a great day at the SHARC (Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic and Recreation Center) your kids will love the bike rides that end at Goodies, the ice cream and candy shop in the mall. They may also enjoy cleaning the fish they catch in the local rivers and lakes on the back deck. No summer day is complete without tip-toeing onto the golf course to perfect your swing or attempt to sink the longest putt in the last light of day.
In winter it's a short 30 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor for boarding and skiing. Once back you can warm up sitting by the fire. You'll also love the way the Resort lights up the trees and the lodge and all the holiday festivities you can partake in.
No matter what time of year, we enjoy cooking meals in the kitchen or on the BBQ and gathering family and friends around the dining table. Once the dishes are cleared you may want to play a late night game of poker or one of the many board games under the coffee table in the family room.

Why the Owner Chose Fairway Island
We've vacationed in Sunriver since 1985, 6 of those years at 8 Salishan Lane. When it came on the market in '02 it was a great opportunity to buy a home that comes with great family memories and will allow us to make many more in the future.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The location is terrific for being close to all Sunriver has to offer. SHARC (Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic and Recreation Center) is literally right around the corner. A quick walk across the 12th fairway, through the Wildflower condo's, across Abbott Drive and you're in the mall. Coffee shop, donut shop, grocery store, etc., it's all there. A 10 minute walk and you're at the lodge enjoying breakfast in the Meadows dining room. Want to work harder for your breakfast?...pick up the path at the end of the cul-de-sac and head for the airport then left to the lodge. 30 minutes of a beautiful walk later...you're there. And remember...if you just want to relax on the back deck and watch the golfers go by...you're in the ideal location! Warm summer sun on the deck in the cool of the morning...welcome shade in the heat of the afternoon.

Stayed here for 3 nights 8/20-23/09. Nice house located on fairway and very close to everything. Quick 5 minute walk to the village for restaurants and shops, also close enough to walk to main lodge and "big" pool. House is large and has plenty of room for large families if needed. Owner is great to deal with and was very responsive to all our needs. Owner provides 4 adult size bikes in good shape too, so no need to pack yours (bring your helmets though if you are so inclined). Again, great house, great location, and very reasonable price! We recommend it! Doug and Debbie Dahl

This is a great Sunriver house. It is perfect for a family vacation. Very close to all the great things Sunriver has to offer. We are frequent Sunriver vacationers and this is the best place we have rented!
