Gorgeous House, Great Location

We've just returned from a week's stay at this wonderful property. The house itself was spacious, very well maintained and very clean! The decor was in keeping with a beach house, with a predominantly sunny yellow and ocean blue theme throughout. The many floor to ceiling windows and the wrap around lower deck and upper deck not only contributed to the light and airy feel of this home, but also afforded lovely views of the ocean. It's literally steps away from the beach and a very comfortable walking distance to the pools, arcade, skateboard park, etc. We didn't even bother with a golf cart! Barbara was teriffic to deal with, very friendly and professional, responding promptly to any enquiries. Our family is very much looking forward to a return visit to Our Little Slice of Paradise!!! My 77 yr. old Mom and I took 4 teenage boys ages 15-19 with us to the beach! We had never been to Ocean Lakes but will definitely go back! We had a great time. The house is just far enough away from everything to be quiet and relaxing and close enough to everything that you can walk. My Mom could easily walk to the beach and back to the house whenever she wanted. She really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching and listening to the ocean. The boys had a blast! Be sure to count the cost of the golf cart in, a must for 16+. The house is clean, very well decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Barbara was so accommodating and helpful with everything. We'll be back again!

Our family just returned from a 2 week stay at "Our slice of paradise" and it was truly that! Ms. Barbara is a wonderful lady to deal with! This house is absolutely awesome; the view and location to the beach is great. The house is more than we expected and we definitely will be staying again. Little Slice of Paradise

We are so sad to leave this gorgeous beach house. It has been a wonderful experience for us and we want to thank Barbara and Jeff for sharing their home with us for the past 4 months. We are taking many happy memories home with us. Everything is so lovingly cared for that it has been like being at a home away from home. The closeness to the beach makes this an awesome location for any type of vacationer. The house is roomy and comfortable and spotless. The best part is that Barbara was so accommodating and understanding of our needs. What a perfect winter we had here in such a perfect place to relax.

We loved being at Myrtle Beach, and staying in a Little Slice of Paradise. We went with all my family,and this year it was special since I had my two new granddaughters(twins)! They loved the beach and the spacious room upstairs to crawl and quest what, one twin took her first steps up there. Being just steps from the beach made it great, since we always had alot of stuff to carry. Our neighbors were nice, location was wonderful and I would recommend this little paradise to everyone. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and she was always quick to respond if you had any needs. God willing we hope to stay there again! P.S. Maybe only needs another vacuum cleaner, Ha!Ha!

The house is very nice. The master bedroom is large with a king bed and a big bathroom. Both bedrooms upstairs are large, nicely decorated and their is opportunity to add extra bedding if needed. The living room has a large screen TV w/ cable. It is also very close to the beach(50ft), which you can see from the deck. The price of the house is less than most are charging for this close to the beach. Ocean Lakes is a great place to go if you have kids..especially teenagers. Thanks Barbara, We had a great time

We thoroughly enjoyed our "slice of paradise" for our family vacation this year. The rooms are very spacious and the house is decorated so nice not to mention the perfect location...what a view. The kids enjoyed their space upstairs and the amenities at Ocean Lakes. One of our best vacations!!

we had a wonderful stay at barbs slice of paradise. her home is beautiful and clean. Barb is so so nice. we had a lovely ocean view from the decks, the rooms are roomy, spacious and colorful and beautifully decorated. we would stay there again.
