This home was perfect for our family gathering of seven adults. It has a wonderful kitchen with everything a cook could possibly need. We also appreciated the over-sized family room. Everyone was able to find a spot on the comfy sectional to watch football on the big screen TV. The home has a fabulous view of the Columbia River Gorge from the back yard. Too bad the floor plan of the home doesn't take more advantage of this. The bedrooms have the best view. I would definately rent this home again.
Owner response:Hi C. So glad you enjoyed the house. We would love to have you back. Until then... take care! Thank you, Julie

The house was better than its description. It's location was exquisite sitting on a bluff over the Columbia River. Nothing was left out when stocking the kitchen - large numbers of cutlery, dishes, pots and pans and wonderful appliances. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the living space accommodated 8 adults easily. Great BBQ area, garage to store the kite boarding equipment, DVDs - we wanted for nothing. The house was spotless throughout. Would easily recommend this home to friends and look forward to returning ourselves.

This is our second time staying at this spacious and wonderfully located home. The view of the Gorge provides tranquility, especially taking it in every morning with a cup of coffee! Everything is nearby from shopping downtown, white water rafting, hiking, to wineries. When we return next year we will definitely request this same home. It's become a family tradition.

Lots of great river views from this large and well furnished house, designed so all major rooms look out on the Columbia. Plenty of room for 8. The house was clean and everything worked well. It's a great home base for visiting the attractions and hiking in the Gorge. For a terrific big city quality dinner, I suggest you cross the river, go up the hill and dine at Doug Ellenberger's "Everybody's Brewing" in White Salmon, WA. (Boiler Up!) Julie proved to be most helpful and accommodating. When we all got dates and things screwed up, she worked hard at solving the problem and making things right. We never got to meet her, but she must be a doll!
Owner response:Hi Bernie... Thanks again for your visit, it was fun working with you. I agree.... "Everybody's Brewing" is my favorite place to eat in the gorge too! Until next time... take great care! Best, Julie

We loved it. There was six of us staying here and it was very spacious and nice. The view was absolutely amazing- I think we spent more time in the backyard than anywhere else in Hood River. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would absolutely go back to this location and would recommend the property to friends. thanks!!

Six lady friends spent a wonderful weekend relaxing, scrapbooking and pursuing other creative endeavors while watching the mighty Columbia roll on. The spacious kitchen allowed cooking and conversation, the dining room became scrapbooking central for three of us, and the living room and very large screen television encouraged much watching of movies. Four bedrooms meant plenty of room for sleeping and napping all with a view to the north. Of course Hood River and the Fruit Loop provided adventure on Saturday.
