Located in the core of the worlds most famous ski town and perched just off Aspen Mountain with spectacular views of Red Mountain and Smuggler Mountain, this condo is hard to beat. On Aspen Mountain Rd, the proximity allows skiers to arrive from the slopes of Aspen Mountain directly to the building while on skis during the winter months. Spring brings the lush surroundings to your windows with quiet breezes and only minutes to walk anywhere in town.
Although the condo has a dedicated parking space, you will not need a car as City Market (local grocery) is only 2 blocks away and the Ruby Park Transportation Center, for skier shuttles to Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk is only 3 blocks away. Of course all the famous restaurants, shopping and entertainment that Aspen has to offer is also just out your door.
Newly renovated, this duplex condo is richly decorated in Colorado western elegance and offers two suites. Enter the condo on the ground floor and behind the double doors you will find the second suite. Featuring a grand log bunk bed with lower queen bed and single above as well as a huge walk-in closet that will accommodate a cot or crib. This suite also features twin sinks a walk-in shower, an inviting sofa, flat screen TV and cozy fireplace.
The second floor is home to the living room, powder room and master suite. The master features a king size bed, sitting area, flat screen TV, twin sinks and a designer walk-in shower. In addition there are vaulted ceilings with skylight, and a walk-in closet.

We have stayed at the condo for over a week every summer for the past several years. The location is unbeatable as we walk to town, to the Ute Trail, to the gondola or City Market in just minutes. The condo is in excellent condition and is upgraded regularly. Furnishings, TV's and supplies are improved by owners who clearly keep close attention and maintain the property very well. The beds are fresh and clean and our family (including 2 kids) are always totally comfortable in the condo.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This property is elegantly and tastefully decorated. With a full sized modern kitchen and washer dryer, the condo is equiped to provide all the necessities of a longer term stay, and luxuries you might not expect on shorter term trip. The Sky Hotel and the Nell are just a 30 second walk so no need for a car with this rental. The condo is quite spacious and it was quite easy to store ski gear and bags out of the way so we could enjoy truly comfortable living. It was a joy each morning to walk maybe 100-200 feet the rest of the way across Aspen Mountain Rd. and ski down to the Silver Queen Gondola. There were several times I dropped by the condo to drop off a layer if I got too hot on the slopes, and as a busy professional, I could easily pop into the condo to take a conference call or handle some emails. As one of the few (or maybe the only) non Aspen Alps buildings behind the Nell and Sky Hotel, this place is a uniquely located gem.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

I rented this condo for a very large portion of the 2011-2012 ski season and was VERY pleased. First and foremost, the location is phenomenal. Being a self-proclaimed Aspen veteran, I can't think of a better location. The condo is a stone's throw from the gondola, the shopping, and all of the nightlife. The entire condo was renovated recently and features top notch appliances and furnishings. The condo is very spacious, and the duplex set up with one bedroom on each floor is a perfect set up for a family with children... the parents upstairs and the children downstairs. The condo is very well maintained and the surrounding walk ways are always well shoveled. Even if it doesn't snow in Aspen, the shopping, restaurants, and nightlife will keep everyone having fun. See you again soon. Ski tips up!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

About the owner: MJ and Larry have been frequent Aspen skiers since their youth and are thrilled to be able to continue their Aspen adventures with family and others. The incredible variety that Aspen offers from music, hiking, biking, skateboarding for kids and strolling the shops in the summer to the terrific slopes and energy of the ski season, make it a wonderful vacation destination.

Aspen and Snowmass offer terrific variety of skiing in the winter that suits our kids needs and offers that challenges that lifelong skiers enjoy. The summer activities and events are myriad. Music festival, hiking and biking are favorites and the kids cannot get enough of the skateboarding. Of course family adventures to the Punch Bowl, Independence Pass, whitewater rafting, fishing and others are amazing. Aspen has great restaurants and shopping to complete the package to the perfect vacation destination.

The particular location of our condo is so appealing because it is somewhat secluded and quiet but is only steps to the center of town, a unique combination. Just off the hill it can be considered a ski-in location in winter which contributes to the appeal. We know that all our guests appreciate these features and we hope to share them with others.
