We really enjoyed staying at the property and Brian Head is a great family ski location. The home is large and very well equipped. We shared it with another family but had plenty of room and separate space to relax. The location is spectacular ... overlooking Navajo Peak and just a few minutes from either lodge. There is a large yard and the kids played safely outside in the snow when we weren't skiing. If we had a question or an issue, the property manager answered his phone and helped us right away. The kitchen's well equipped and we were able to eat in for the entire trip (Brian Head doesn't have a lot of night life or restaurants but makes up for it in other ways). There was also a washer and dryer, allowing us to pack light. There is a big screen with DirecTV and DVD player and two other satellite TVs ... but we never turned them on! We enjoyed fires in the great room and playing several board games which are in the home. There's also a stereo with a lot of great 80s CDs that we enjoyed. Brian Head is not as large as some of the major resorts, but lifts are about half the price of the majors. They're still; waiting on more snow to open the Blacks, but we found plenty of great runs for the kids who are just learning. The resort staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help kids and new skiiers and snowboarders. The best thing about the resort ... over three days, we never waited in line (except when we took the kids tubing, which we highly recommend). We live in LA and the trip took us about the same amount of drive time as Mammoth (longer distance, less traffic). We will be back and will try to book this property again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children.
