Our condo is very adorable, clean and spacious. It is in an ideal location on the top floor which affords both privacy and quiet relaxation. The kitchen has all the amenities you would need if you decide to stay in and cook. The condo is ideal for those who are attending weddings. We are close to all the wedding events.
If you would like to go out, not only is Charleston minutes away, but you could take a quick drive to what is probably the best Southern BBQ restaurant around, "Home Team BBQ." It is a short drive to the eclectic Voodoo lounge or other local bars and restaurants such as Pearl's, Triangle, and Gene's Hoffbrau, to name a few. Up the street is a grocery store/CVS. There is a Block Buster video near by.
There's even a great local coffee shop that brews some wonderful coffee. There are a few very good antique stores where you can pick up some unique items without having to pay the downtown Charleston prices.
If you have kids, then there is a great skate park within five minutes of the entry, a dog park to mingle amongst, or they can enjoy one of the two pools.
You'll enjoy the refreshing colors and unique pieces of furniture when you come home to our condo. All appliances are like new and there is a washer and dryer in the condominium.
The master bedroom has it's own vanity and shower/tub and is separated by the living room from the other bedrooms. Come and enjoy.

Charming Condo in Charleston-Home Away from Home

I recently booked this condo through VRBO for a birthday get-away and could not have been happier with the total experience. The owner was so helpful and responsive to all my questions and made the experience a smooth one. The condo is well appointed, close to downtown Charleston and near all major highways to beaches and other popular destinations in the surrounding area. The pool and sunbathing area was located very close to the unit in this gated community. It is so nice to have a unit with laundry facilities and a well stocked kitchen. The balcony which was located through the french doors from the living room was a delightful place to sit in the sun, have a second cup of coffee, and to enjoy a leisurely start to the day. "Nothing could be finer" than to be in this condo in Carolina!

Two weeks wasn't enough. With so many things to see and do in the Charleston area this condo provides the perfect home base. Most of our destinations were within 10-15 minutes from 'home'. The historic areas of Charleston, museums, art galleries, and of course an incredible range of dining. Kayaking (finding million yr. old shark teeth!) and Magnolia Plantation were a bit farther (20 minutes or so) but still so easily do able....we left with so many things yet to do and so many places still 'nearby' to explore. For those flying, the airport was about 15-17 minutes of no hassle travel. The condo was spacious and accommodated 6 adults and Ace the dog comfortably. The immediate area was beautifully cared for and very dog friendly. The pool was close by though the weather was a bit cool for daily dipping. Ace appreciated the nearby dog park and a neighborhood that was comfortable to walk his people in. The owner, Doug, gave us good 'insider information' on places to visit for some local flavor, one of which became our favorite hangout. When the air conditioning decided to become sluggish he made sure things were up and running correctly immediately. We appreciated his gracious care and concern. I think the highest compliment we can give is that we would not hesitate to return ( we're thinking of a month when it gets cold and gray here at home...) and would tell others to contact Doug first when considering the Charleston area. Our dining recommendations would go to: The VooDoo Tiki Lounge with its funky atmosphere, gourmet tacos, and truffle 'tater tots. Andolinis for some of the BEST thin crust pizza ever. Toast, for good downtown dining (best she-crab soup!) and reasonable prices. Hanks for fine dining ($$$) and Poogan's Porch for a fine lunch with both a wonderful dog story as well as it's own ghost. Ace gives Magnolina Plantation two woofs and a bark for being dog friendly. He was allowed everywhere except in the petting zoo and the plantation house (dogs one can carry ARE allowed there!). He enjoyed the tram ride to see the slave cabins. The CSA Hunley was a historians dream. Actually seeing the submarine in its preservation tank, becoming a part of the ongoing efforts to solve the mystery of its sinking, and then visiting the cemetery where the crews have come 'home' to rest after 130 years, made for quite the afternoon. What an incredible vacation! Ace and his extended family.

This condo is an excellent location to downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, etc. Clean, comfortable, gated community. Nice and quiet! Our annual girls weekend away will definitely rent this condo again. We went to Boone Hall Planation for the haunted hayride - took maybe 15 to 20 minutes. Love this place.

I stayed in this condo labor day weekdend with my parents, brother, and my brother's dog. It was fabulous and had so many amenities inside and outside the condo. The kitchen in the condo was great and it also had a washer and dryer. The complex has two great pools with hot tubs, an exercise room as well as lighted tennis courts. I had lived in Charleston for 4 years and my brother still lives there and it was the perfect location to downtown, the beaches, outlets, and plantations. Even if you are not familiar with the area this condo is central to everything! The price for 3 nights was unbeatable!

We had 3 families staying together and it was really a great place. The condo is beautifully decorated and furnished. The pools were nice and not crowded, which was wonderful to us. It's a good central location to everything, downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, Daniel Island, etc. We will definitely be keeping this link for our next visit to Charleston!
