Enjoy Sanibel Island at its best in our newly remodeled second floor two bedroom and two bathroom condo. Our unit is equipped with everything you will need for a perfect vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances. We have a new flat screen with DVD and VCR in the living room and TV's in each of the bedrooms. Stereo with IPhone dock. High speed wireless internet available at no charge. Beach chairs and other beach equipment are provided. Other items available include washer (new 2009) and dryer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Club house available for guest use.
The Loggerhead Cay complex is located on the endless beach. The kids will love the beach and the heated Olympic size community pool in the beautifully landscaped courtyard. There are two tennis courts on site and first class clay courts at the Beachview Golf & Tennis Club nearby. Explore birds and wildlife at the Ding Darling Sanctuary on the island. Grocery shops are located a short drive or bike ride away.

We loved this unit! It is VERY clean and efficient. We have stayed in other units at Loggerhead and always look to see if this one is available first. I have three girls who can sleep in the large beds in the guest room and no one has to take a turn sleeping on the couch. There were plenty of toys/chairs and umbrellas when we were there. A good unit at a great price!

We have recently upgraded the unit with new patio furniture, new 40" flatscreen TV in the living room, flatscreen TV in the master bedroom and updated the beach equipment. We hope to have you as our guests again soon.

The property was accurately described. It is well maintained and updated. Very clean. Walk to beach isn't too far, but if you have children and lots of beach things, I would recommend renting a condo closer to the water. I would recommend this property to a friend. The pool was very nice and clean. Only downside was the overhead light in bathroom in the master bedroom kept going dim. The rental office sent someone out to fix it, but it went dim two hours later. We had to use the other bathroom for showering and shaving. I would also recommend adding two sandchairs. The striped sandchair is broken which leaves only two good beach chairs. Also, we couldn't find a gas grill near our unit. We thought only dogs under 25 pounds were allowed at Loggerhead Cay, but we saw dogs much larger. Sometimes, the barking of many dogs was annoying, but most owners quieted their dogs. We took a boat tour out of Captiva to Turtle Cay Island. We loved the Bubble Room on Captiva. Lighthouse Cafe was good for breakfast and dinner. Doc Ford's was good too. Ate breakfast at Sanibel Cafe and Island Cow, very reasonable.
Owner response:Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry for your problems with the bathroom lights. We will make sure that it is fixed properly. As with the sand chairs, normally there are four, so some must have broken or gone missing recently. We will have them replaced. Gas grills are located by the tennis courts. Come back and stay with us again soon.
