Absolutely the best rental in northern Virginia. The Shed at 209 is situated in the heart of Del Ray: metro DC's hottest neighborhood. Stay here and get a feel for living in Nation's Capitol. Everything is close. You get the best of both worlds in Del Ray. It is urban living at its best, but also the neighborhood gives a small town feeling. Think Mayberry in an urban setting. The best restaurants in the area are only a few minutes walk. Get fantastic Indian, Mexican, Afghan, Chinese or American food. The metro bus is 1/2 block away. Take it straight to the Pentagon Metro Rail. Metro rail is only a few blocks away and it is only 4 stops to the Smithsonian and DC Mall. Bring your bikes. The Mt. Vernon bike trail is only a few blocks away. Ride your bike from the Shed to Mt. Vernon or Harpers Ferry. Our guests enjoy the walk to Old Town Alexandria.

The house is kid and dog friendly. There is a playground for the kids and a fenced yard for your dog. It was completely renovated in the Spring of 2009. New appliances, paint, carpet and TV! Relax watching HD TV. Minutes to swimming pools, museums, White House, and Capitol.
Please note that April - August and most holidays, the house generally rents from Saturday to Saturday. If you have a specific need, please let us know and we will work with you to fulfill it.
