We had a great time in this well maintained cabin on the lake. The owners were very easy to talk to and made it easy to rent. Very relaxing with beautiful views of the lake. The dogs had a wonderful time . Would recommend it to others to enjoy as much as we did.

Beautiful Snowy Days

My wife and just came home from spending Valentine's Day in this lovely cabin. On our way to the cabin it was sort of snowy, but soon after our arrival the snow fell and covered everything, beautifully. Upon locating the cabin, we saw that it was just as depicted in the photographs. There was a smell of fresh wood and clean and fresh air. We placed a log in the fireplace and settled in for dinner and a movie. The rooms were decorated perfectly for a woodsy setting. The beds were comfy and fresh. The Cabin owners were very easy to communicate with and very helpful. We had a memorable stay and have plans to return, hopefully to this cabin again.

My wife and I along with our dog Abbey spent a wonderful 3 days in 0ctober here. It was fantastic! We took the trail along the lake into Lake Arrowhead Village (~2.5miles oneway) and it was great. If you like long tranquil walks along the lake, sitting by a fireplace either reading a good book or watching a movie, this is the place. Additionally, the owners are great, easy to work with and they are dog friendly.

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed using your beautiful cabin. It has such a perfect mountain atmosphere. We loved your choice of furnishings. It was so relaxing and comfortable to be there. The views were beautiful. Being able to be so close to the lake for swimming and hiking made it really special. Great cottage, well maintained, with nice owners who answer questions and a beautiful deck that overlooks the lake . . . what more could you want? The lake is beautiful and a great place for r & r. Would definitely rent again.

Thank you John for a wonderful stay in your lake front home in Emerald Bay. The two of us and our dog, were very happy at your vacation home. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake trail and walked often, right from the house. We used the BBQ on the lake facing deck and felt right at home in the cozy environment. The kitchen was very well supplied. Our five night stay was just perfect, thank you for allowing us to bring our labradoodle along for the trip, we have never seen him so happy! We would certainly love to come again.

A Wonderful, Dog-Friendly Getaway, Just as Promised

We selected this lakefront vacation rental based on the vintage-style photos and great reviews among the dog-friendly Lake Arrowhead choices, and were completely delighted. It was even better than we expected. The rental process was quick, simple and straightforward with no hidden fees and easy communication with the owners via email. The house is peaceful, tastefully appointed, and spacious enough for the two of us and our two big Labradors (we didn't even use the downstairs). It had everything we needed on one level. We rented in the middle of January, so it was exceptionally quiet at the lake. We didn't do much and that was just fine with us, but there would be plenty to do in the warmer weather, when we plan to go back and enjoy it again. Thank you for a wonderful place to spend our time in Lake Arrowhead.

Great Fall Vacation

We stayed at this cabin over an extended Columbus Day weekend. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had with VRBO. The cabin is located within two miles of Lake Arrowhead village. It is directly on the the lake at Emerald Bay with a covered dock where we enjoyed several beautiful afternoons watching the bird life and the boaters. It was the first time I have stayed at a rental in Lake Arrowhead that was directly on the water with easy access to the ALA trail. What a treat! The cabin is very comfortable with a well appointed kitchen. We were planning on going out to eat dinner each night but found it was so relaxing and enjoyable to watch the beautiful view from the deck we stayed in and utilized the barbeque. I loved the old Lake Arrowhead feel of the cabin with its large stone fireplace and knotty pine walls and comfortable beds. The owners are very helpful and make the rental process easy with no hidden booking fees which I have previously experienced with VRBO. Additionally, the cabin is is dog friendly. We are rarely able to take our dogs with us on vacation so this was a special treat. Thanks for a wonderful time and I look forward to renting this cabin again in the future.

Lake Arrowhead Experts

Been going to Lake Arrowhead on a regular basis since 1956... have rented practically everything on the Lake in those 50+ years so I think I can write a pretty good review based on my experiences. Anybody who has been to Lake Arrowhead already knows how great the experience is - so this review will be specifically about this charming home in Emerald Bay. The owners are gracious and helpful. The house is charming, clean and well appointed. We stayed there in August for a few days and I can honestly say it felt like home. This trip was just my wife and I and our 2 dogs. The owners and the home are dog friendly (dogs had everything they needed as well) which is a big plus for us since we prefer to travel with our dogs. We are kayakers and the 2 person kayak on the dock was the perfect way to start our mornings with a paddle around the shores of beautiful Lake Arrowhead. Can't forget to mention the covered dock. Most lakefronts don't have covered docks and it is well appreciated in the heat of the day. Dealing direct with the owners and not having to work through an agency is a plus for us as well. Just simplifies the whole process. Since Arrowhead is such a big part of our lives, finding this wonderful lakefront charmer is a real deal for us. Priced below the competition and better appointed than most lakefronts, dealing with easy going owners.... we have found our new home at Lake Arrowhead!

I had a Father/Daughter weekend 9/24-26. We had a great time. The beds are very comfortable, deck relaxing and kayak an extra treat. Easy in and out any very fair on price. I would recommend to all, except those that cannot navigate stairs.

We have been renting on the lake for over 20 years and are pretty picky about our two week experience. This place met all expectations and more. Reasonably priced, neatly accomodated, and a great location for summer recreation. The walking trails that the ALA provide, kayaking, fishing and swimming in beautiful Emerald Bay are just a few of the daily things to do. Very quiet relaxing, and dog friendly. The owners are very helpful. We will be back.

This is a “low-cost to value” lakefront rental which I have thoroughly enjoyed on each visit. Located in a neighborhood that is quite and beautiful, this property has breathtaking views snow or sunshine. The lake and dock are conveniently located just off the back of the property and I enjoyed the fishing, hiking, bird watching, dog walking, etc….ideal location for all of these things. The Jensen’s grocery store is right down the street and the Lake Arrowhead Village is less than a 5 minute drive. The deck off the back is a wonderful place to barbeque with friends and family while relaxing and absorbing the beautiful surroundings and crisp air. This property is well maintained and has all the amenities I needed to enjoy my stay(s) in comfort. My expectations have always been met or exceeded. Although there are so many reasons to like this property, the aforementioned is a brief summary of why I have rented this property on 4 occasions in 2009 and plan on renting it again in the near future. I’ve never been disappointed. Cheers! John, thank you for all the memories at your lakefront home. I look forward to my next visit.

We stayed at this lovely home over the Christmas break and it was PERFECT! Our family had a blast. They provided tons of amenities such as fluffy towels, great kitchen ware, wine glasses, coffee, etc. I loved the location and views of the lake. This place is highly recommended!

Cannot say enough about this perfect Lakefront getaway! The location doesn't get any better then Palasades Lakefront w/dock! The home is right out of a movie set w/l940's charm and 2000's conveniences. And owners could not be more accomodating and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful time!!
