The view was unbelievable. I have been to the mountains many times and I think this was the best view I have ever seen. We felt so blessed to be able to stay in this cabin for 8 days. Everything was so clean. The well supplied kitchen, outside grill, and the slow cooker made cooking for our family of 8 enjoyable. The location was great. We were able to go to Pigeon Forge easily and having a full size grocery store close by made it perfect for us.

This is an awesome cabin! We came up for a family member's wedding and added a few days to our stay. The location is perfect, the space is perfect, the quality of the home is perfect, the kitchen is stocked perfectly, EVERYTHING about this cabin is perfect. I sat out on the porch with my parents and our cups of coffee and watch the sun come up every morning! Thank you for this special time with them! The owners are very sweet and accommodating and have thought of everything you might need. My only regret is that I didn’t take the time to write in your guest book. Thanks for opening your PERFECT home to us - we had a great time!

This cabin is gorgeous with lots of room. It had everything we needed to feel at home. We stayed in for most of our trip and really enjoyed the game room and large TVs. The kitchen is stocked with more supplies than my own. The restaurant style waffle maker is great! It's especialy nice for all bedrooms to have their own bathrooms. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we will be returning! Thanks Barbara!

We had a great time over winter break in the beautiful cabin. It was close to downtown and still out enough to enjoy peace and quite. We loved the cabin and was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful decor and nice layout. Very friendly owners!

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay at Ah... The View. The name says it all. The view was truly spectacular! When it snowed on the mountains across the valley, what a sight. The Christmas decorations added such a festive touch. It was a wonderful start to the holiday season. Everything we needed was supplied and the owners answered all questions promptly. The cabin was exceptionaly clean and well supplied. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a wonderful vacation in Gatlinburg.

This place was perfect for us, the cabin had everything we needed and then some. The kids loved the video games and sitting in the hot tub. Everything was very clean. I hadn't seen mountains in quit some time, and this was a great way to get reacquainted! Can't wait till we can return. The owners went out of there way to find some very important earrings to me, and sent them back! Couldn't ask for more!

What a beautiful cabin! It was perfect! Nice size, great view, close town but did not see another person while at the property. We enjoyed the game room in our down time. Would definately recommend to others. The owners were exceptionally easy to work with and responded quickly. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for the second half of our honeymoon. It was great! There is a grocery store very close, so we were able to pick up groceries on the way to the cabin and then just relax. The view from the porch was beautiful, and the hot tub was very clean it was also under the porch awning so we could relax in it during a brief shower. As it was our honeymoon, we didn't really do anything other than relax in the cabin, but the owners provide a binder of restaurant menus for those interested. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils anyone would need and a waffle maker. Everything is easy to find. The grill on the porch was great as well, very clean and easy to use. The decor in the cabin is very cozy with a mountain theme. It was wonderful just us, but would be a great place to go with family or a group of friends because there is an excellent game room. There is an attractive pool in the community, but it was not open at the time of our visit (early May). We would definitely like to come back for a second visit!

This is a lovely cabin. The location is ideal. The grocery store is conveniently located nearby and you are also close to many downtown attractions. The cabin was very clean and well maintained, with plenty to do should you be snowed in for a few days. The owners were very helpful in answering any questions we had and were very easy to get a hold of. We definately plan on staying there again in the future and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Thank you so much to Barbara & David for sharing your beautifully decorated log home with us during the Christmas season! The winter storm & frigid temps didn't keep us from having a great time and exploring the Smoky Mountains....what an amazing winter wonderland for our Christmas vacation! Your cabin was beyond cozy & warm! We had 3 households staying in Ahhh...the View last week and our stay was spectacular. Having the three bedroom suites separate on each floor gave everyone privacy and we still had plenty of living space for entertainment with TVs, pool table and hot tub. The location was close to everything and the area of Black Bear Falls was beautiful. We could not have asked for better people to rent from...Barbara was wonderful to answer questions and give recommendations. The cabin was well-equipped with everything you would need whether you are staying for an extended weekend or a full week like we did. Everyone in our party thanks you for sharing your amazing home!

We would recommend to all of our friends and hope to return soon.

My husband and I just spent a fantastic week in Gatlinburg,Tn. with friends at Ahhh...The View. The cabin name says it all! The view was spectacular from every point of the wraparound porch on the upper deck as well as the lower porch and the walls of windows. The three king suites, ample dining amd sitting rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable, We enjoyed the large screen tv in each suite as well as in the sitting room, and the hot tub was GREAT! The cabin was very clean and well mantained. The owners were very helpful and answered all my questions promptly. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to visit Gatlinburg.

I can't say enough how wonderful this place is. My family has stayed at several places in the area and this is by far the best. It was so clean and spacious. We loved having the big TVs in all of the rooms (watching the games) while taking turns playing pool in the gameroom. It was so nice to come back to such a welcoming place after spending the day exploring Cades Cove and wind down in the hot tub. The cabin is very close to downtown Gatlinburg but you would think you were in the middle of woods, it has such a secluded feel. We can recommend several great places to eat such as Calhoun's, the Alamo, Olge's Brick Oven Pizza all in close proximity to the cabin. The owners had a binder with information needed to utilize the different TV Remotes, other electronics in the cabin, and just general information about local attractions, etc. I don't know what we would have done without the execellent maps provided in the information binder. Thank you for having such a fabulous place for rent. We will definitely be back.

What a fantastic vacation experience! Our 4 days and 4 nights stay was thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable. Although there were only two couples on this trip, the cabin could comfortably handle several more. The view through the windows from inside or from the main floor porch/deck or bottom floor patio is truly breathtaking. The view of the mountains and surrounding nature is unforgettable-- especially when having a cup of coffee in the morning with the sun rising over the mountains. The cabin is beautifully decorated with seasonal touches which makes it so enjoyable. It is wonderfully clean, accommodating, and complete with all necessities; it is very convenient to the Park and to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We hope to return with at least some of our kids and grandkids before too long. The owners went out of their way to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.

Everything about this cabin was perfect for our family. Not only did we find the location convenient but Black Bear Falls community was very nice and well kept. We had plenty of room to spread out or to be together. It is beautifully furnished and has more than enough very comfortable seating. The beds are extremely comfortable. The owners have gone to great lengths to make sure the cabin has everything you could possibly need or want. Upon entering for the first time we found it to be not only very clean but very welcoming as well. We couldn't have been more comfortable. The view is as beautiful as they come.

Wonderful place to stay for our family weekend in the Smokies. The cabin is comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and really does have an amazing view. We enjoyed having a clean and pretty place to relax in when we came back from our mountain treks! The cabin is beautiful but I think our favorite spot was out on the balcony looking out at the mountains and listening to the wind roar through the trees. Very close to Gatlinburg for restaurants etc and to the Greenbrier & main Smokies Park entrances, up on a hill with the beautiful view, but with only a short drive (no long twisting rides up the mountain to get to your cabin). The renters/owners were professional and pleasant to deal with throughout. We had a wonderful time!!!!

The description of the cabin was very accurate plus we were able to view a video of the cabin. We found the cabin to be more beautiful than the video showed. The cabin was very clean. The appearance, atmosphere and feel of the cabin was very warm and welcoming. When contacting the owners they were very helpful and answered all questions. They made us feel very much at home with renting their cabin. One of the ladies with our scrapbook group is now interested in renting the cabin. The area is quiet, but yet, easy to drive in to Gatlinburg or Pidgen Forge. We took a few hours on Saturday to do some shopping, but all of us were eager to return to the warm, peaceful "Ahhh...the View". Would we consider renting Ahhh...the View again? Yes! Without any hesitation. It is hard to find the words to describe how relaxing one feels while staying at "Ahhh...the View".

Just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our stay in your cabin. You have created a most inviting place to come and relax. We enjoyed looking at the mountains while soaking in the hot tub. The kids like to watch videos and what a surprise to find a TV and DVD Player in every room. When it came time to end the day, the king size bed we slept in was so comfortable. We look forward to our future stays in your cabin.
