  This is the second year that my husband and I have stayed at Hale Pau Hana Resort in April. The owner is very helpful in trying to accomodate your needs. The condo is decorated beautifully and the furnishings are very comfortable. I believe this condo has been recenty updated and remodeled and it shows. I was amazed at how pristine the condo is kept. The kitchen is well kept with any type of appliances you need to fix meals and and there is barbecues available to use. One thing that sets this condo apart is the beautiful views from the Lanai of the ocean. Every morning we would have breakfast on the Lanai and enjoy hearing the waves of the ocean and enjoying the screnery. The location is great and there is grocery stores close by and resturants. We are already planning on when we can come back to stay.

  This is the second time I've stayed in this building. The one bedroom units tend to be similar with the bedroom windows facing the street and the dining and living areas giving you a great view of the ocean which is steps from the properties lawn. As mentioned in other reviews, the bedroom has an air conditioner in it for comfortable sleeping and the sound of it drowns out any noise there may be from the street. The rest of the unit is not air conditioned and does tend to get quite warm during the day and slightly less so into the evening but a fan is definitely needed. There is one in the unit along with many other everyday necessities which is nice. i.e. sunblocks, boogie board etc. The only complaint is one which is outside of the owners control and that is 4 of our 7 days in the building involved putting up with demolition noise(jackhammer, drilling) form a unit on the ground floor. I suppose the best thing to do is to call the rental office directly just before booking and asking if there is any remodeling work scheduled for the time you'll be there. Location is ideal, beach is wonderful, even though there is a full kitchen restaurants and shops are very close with a great ice cream shop across the street at the mall. Great value for being right on the beach.

  This condo at Hale Pau Hana is beautifully decorated with an Hawaiian theme, perfect for a holiday. The condo was very bright and had a great view of the ocean. All of the furniture was very comfortable and stocked with everything you need for cooking and relaxing. I can't wait to visit again!

  We highly recommend this condo, the location is amazing. My husband and I loved to sit on the Lanai and watch whales and dolphins ( literally 10 feet from shore). We snorkeld right out front ( to the right) and swam with the largest turtle we ever saw, it was amazing, we also saw other smaller turtles and beautiful colored fish. We loved coming home after a day at the beach to a ful ocean view and the beautiful sound of the waves. The condo was very comfortable and stocked with everything you need. We also loved having two bathrooms even though there were only the two of us:) We also loved walking the Kamole beaches and the close amenities, perfect place. Karri and Alan Calgary, AB Canada

  This was our second trip to Maui but the first time that our accommodations were the total Hawaiian experience. It was fantastic to have morning coffee on the lanai and watch a momma and baby whale for almost an hour right in front of us. Beautiful location right on the beach. Amazing sunsets! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Very well equipped. We had many a BBQ dinner but it was also nice to walk across the street for a dinner out. It was the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo. If we make another trip to Maui - we will surely book with Laurie again. Our co-workers are already looking to book their vacation with you. A perfect vacation!

  This was an amazing vacation this time here Hale Pau Hana this was our Christmas vacation as well as our vowe renewal I will always have wonderful memories and great pictures from the lanai, the New Years Eve entertainment was also such a great time. This condo was stocked with everything our family needed. To be able to sit on the lanai and have our older kids out on the beach or in the pool and not have to be right down with them was a blessing, it was the 1st place we all came to in the morning and the last place to hang out in the evening! Laurie( condo owner) you are a blessing to work with and have a true gem of a place we will be back for sure:)

  In making our booking, Laurie (condo owner) was really easy to deal with. She is very hospitable and accomodating and the condo availability calendar on the website was always up to date. The pictures posted on the website don't do this place justice! The view from the lanai is INCREDIBLE. The condo itself is so comfortable and makes you feel at home. Two full bathrooms is definitely a plus. The kitchen is fully stocked - lots of spices and sauces, coffee, some baking ingredients, and condiments in the fridge. I would check what the condo has before grocery shopping as prior guests may have left a few (non-perishable) items behind as well. And they have lots of beach toys and water sports equipment. The listing description is accurate. All the other reviews are accurate as well - I'm so happy that everyone's had the same amazingly relaxing time at Hale Pau Hana. I'm recommending this unit for friends and family, and I'm definitely booking with the Holmstroms again the next time I go back to Maui!

  We were very lucky to have stayed in this condo unit in August 2012 for 15 nights. The decor was beautiful. Gorgeous kitchen, bathrooms, living and dining areas. The unit was very well stocked, well organized and immaculately clean. You cannot beat the Hale Pau Hana for location - excellent views, swimming and snorkeling. This is why we are return visitors. The condo owners were very friendly and excellent to deal with. I would recommend this condo without hesitation. We had a marvelous stay!

  Highly recommend. Just like having the ocean at your door step. A direct ocean view, this is truely an ocean front property. Everything was perfect, from check in to checkout. Owners are really nice people, great transaction, highly recommend. Kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need, even the sofa bed was comfortable!

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay 21411. The location was perfect for first time visitors; the organic market across the street was an added convenience. Photos on the website accurately depict condo and its beachfront views. The condo was nicely decorated, very tidy and exceptionally clean! Made us feel very much at home. The property was equally well maintained. The bonuses we enjoyed were snorkelling and the morning "yoga at the ocean" offered on site, walks on the beach, mountain biking in the "Upcountry"; "Cafe'"across the street had excellent food. Our condo also had a great collection of resouce books on the island as well as novels.
