Step out of your door onto a broad terrace and view the sea. This unique indoor/ outdoor rental unit has two complete bedrooms each with its own bath, multiple closets and mini fridge with direct access to a covered Terrace, 10 meters long, which is your living room. In front of you is a small garden and then a mere 5 meters more and you are on the beach.
We are located on a secluded 7 kilometers of beach with few neighbors and several intersecting estuaries where birds abound. Swimming, surfing, shelling, and relaxing are the main activities in this peaceful paradise.
Read a book from our library, frolic or surf in the sea, play a board game or take a nap. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the ocean. The small pueblo of Buena Vista is a mile away and provides basic food stores and the best tamales in Mexico.
For a change of pace a 15 minute drive will take you to the resort town of Troncones where restaurants and local artisans can be found as well as various tours arranged. A bit further (30 minutes) is Ixtapa, a Mexican government sponsored resort, with large hotels, night clubs, golf courses and a marina. It's sister city, Zihuatanejo, originally a quaint fishing village now sports restaurants, shops, including a Wal-Mart, and deep-sea fishing excursions. A car is recommended for these side trips.
Your hostesses/owners live in the upstairs apartment in this beach duplex so they are available for advice and assistance. A small casita on the property houses the night Security Guard for the safety of our guests. Cleaning of the unit is done midweek; additional services can be arranged.

Year Purchased: 2006
We are two retired teachers who built our dream house on the beach on the West coast of Mexico in Buena Vista in 2006. We spend one-half of our year in Mexico and the other half on the east coast - quite a contrast! We live in the upstairs apartment and the downstairs space is for our renters. We love walking the beach, swimming and boogie boarding. We find beautiful shells on our beach and watch the marvelous birds in front of our house. This picture is not in Buena Vista but from our travels.
Why the Owner Chose Buena Vista
We found the Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo resort area in 1992 when we were still teaching and came for our Christmas/New Year's vacation for 14 years because the weather was always perfect (in the low 80s during the day). During that time we were given the opportunity to buy a piece of property right on the beach in Buena Vista and took the chance. Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo and Troncones are resort communities nearby with fishing, golfing, and many activities where we go frequently but we love the peace and quiet of our own little piece of paradise with 7 kms of unspoiled beach and estuaries.

The beach, the beach, the beach !!! There are a few good neighbors in our area to spend time with and interesting places to visit both near and far but the bottom line is this wonderful location on the open ocean with palm trees caressing the sky, gorgeous sunsets and perfect weather.
