Why the Owner Chose Beulah
We have vacationed in this area our entire lives. This property has been in Suzie's family since the late 1920's while Bill's family has owned property since 1905 located just 15 minutes away on beautiful Lower Hering Lake. For many years our dream was to retire to this area. Our lakehouse home is a makeover of the original cottage and has been included on the annual Charity Tour of Interesting Places.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
Platte Lake is a very quiet low traffic all sports lake with a beautiful wildlife preserve located at the east end where we live. We can leave our home in kayaks and in 10 minutes be enjoying the solitude and beauty of the Platte River while others are enjoying water sports on the lake. Three golf courses are located within a ten minute drive and Traverse City is just 25 miles away. It's no wonder that many prefer to call this "God's Country".
Owner's Map of Beulah

Our family was there for 3 days in late June and had the most FANTASTIC TIME...What a venue, what fabulous hosts and what a location. This was home from home and soooooooooooo relaxing. We WILL be back!!! The book of local attractions makes this a one stop mini Chamber of Commerce

Cute, Cozy and Comfortable. The view of the lake was wonderful through the series of windows from the living room. The fireplace & hot tub both added a nice "warmth" during our winter stay. The beds were very comfortable. It was very nicely decorated. We appreciated the "extras" you left for us. Looking forward to another visit; maybe even to see the "gardens" in the summer. You have a wonderful place.

My husband and I, along with our 2 children (ages 10 & 7), had a wonderful time at this gorgeous guest house on Platte Lake. The owners were wonderful and very accomodating. The guest house is beautifully decorated and was very clean and modern. The location is perfect...our active family found plenty to do (rented canoes one day and bike rides along Crystal Lake the next). I would highly recommend this rental property!
