The Comfy Cactus Casita is located at Starr Pass, a 1,400 acre exclusive, five-star golf course resort & spa nestled in the foothills of the Tucson Mountains. Bobcat, deer, javelina and coyote abound in this rich desert mountain setting. Standing at 2,700 feet high, Starr Pass enables its guests an easy view of the Tucson city lights and surrounding mountains – a beautiful panoramic setting under Tucson’s big Southwestern starry nights.
Although Tucson International Airport, the downtown attractions, and the University of Arizona activities are within easy reach by car, the Starr Pass / JW Marriott Resort has a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The challenging and picturesque Arnold Palmer signature 27-hole golf course is a major part of the resort and blends effortlessly with the Sonoran desert landscape.

Our spacious double suite Santa Fe style casita is a quiet end unit, luxuriously decorated in a Southwestern motif with beamed ceilings and large sliding glass doors (from living area and master bedroom) opening onto an extended patio.
From the casita, you have a short walk to the golf clubhouse where you can take the complimentary 5 minute shuttle to the five-star JW Marriott Resort Hotel where world class restaurants and the Hashani Spa await you – a truly unique resort overlooking the golf course and the city lights. An Olympic size heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center and tennis courts are also only a short walk from the casita, and are available at no cost to you.
Inside our casita are a master king bedroom and full bath suite, a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful beamed ceiling living area with gas log fireplace, a second bedroom / bath suite having two double beds, small kitchen bar with refrigerator and microwave. Two couples can comfortably occupy the casita as there is a privacy lock door separating the second bedroom from the living area. Each bedroom and the living area have its own cable television. Comfy Cactus Casita is fully equipped with kitchen and household supplies. Free high speed internet and local phone calls are available for all our guests. And free weekly housekeeping service is available to guests who stay ten nights or longer.
