This Sea Trail Plantation condominium is located in Sunset Beach (1 mile/5 minute drive from a beautiful beach) and overlooks the number 1 hole of one of the resort's three signature golf courses, the Dan Maples course. Sea Trail is 3 miles from Calabash, NC, 5 miles from Ocean Isle Beach, NC and 20 minutes from the city limits of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Sea Trail Plantation and our condo are great places for families, golfers, honeymooners, seniors, and vacationers alike.
For the golfers, waiting at Sea Trail is a golf experience you will not want to miss. There are three different signature courses, designed by Rees Jones, Dan Maples and Willard Byrd to be enjoyed by players of all levels, but are challenging even to the accomplished golfer.
There are also two clubhouses which feature a full-service golf shop, lounge and snack bar.
The Village Activity Center (VAC) is available for a nominal charge ($80 a week or $20 per day for a family of six, for example). The VAC is only a 3 minute walk from our condominium and hosts a variety of activities. The outdoor pool with kiddie pool and heated whirlpool and its lush, tropical setting is perfect for relaxing. The indoor heated whirlpool, heated pool, and sauna are perfect for those cooler days. Take time to visit the full service spa for a massage with a licensed therapist. If you don't want to take a break from your exercise routine while you are away, take advantage of the VAC fitness center. Fitness classes are also scheduled year round. For the children, the VAC has planned activities daily during the summer and holiday periods.
Activities available nearby are: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, horseback riding, deep sea and pier fishing, eco-tours and adventure cruises.
Sunset Beach was voted "Best Beach on the East Coast" by Duke University and is in the Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand area. Sunset Beach has been a quietly kept secret of beach lovers. It has remained a wholesome, family-oriented community and was ranked the #1 barrier island on the North Carolina coast.
The setting offers the perfect backdrop for one of the most peaceful resort communities on the East Coast. The Grand Strand area hosts numerous "Live Entertainment Theaters" featuring shows by the popular group Alabama, world champion exhibition ice skating and spectacular "Western" shows.
The Grand Strand/Myrtle Beach area has already become known as "the Branson of the South." The climate is always pleasant. Temperatures range from an average low of 54 in January, to a high of 82 in July.

* Check-in time is no earlier than 4:00 PM and checkout time is no later than 11:00 AM.
* Reservations/Cancellation information - 30% of the rental amount is required to confirm your reservation for weekly or longer rentals. A deposit of $100 is required for 2-3 day rentals. The balance is due 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival. Full payment is due when your reservation is confirmed if your arrival is less than 14 days away. Personal checks, PayPal, Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted. Cancellations made less that 30 days prior to arrival date will result in loss of reservation fee.
* 3 nite minimum in summer and major holidays, 2 nite minimum rest of the year
Books are available in our condo for your reading pleasure. A restaurant guide is available with menus from numerous local restaurants. The area has restaurants featuring the following cuisine: Thai, Chinese, Greek, Italian, German, Japanese, Jamaican, French, and Australian. Any palate can be satisfied.
Linens, departure cleaning, unlimited local calls, Wireless Internet, and utilities are included in our rates. there is an additional 6% room tax.

Why the Owner Chose Sunset Beach
We purchased property at Sea Trail in the mid-1990's after deciding this was the place we wanted to retire to and build a house. Florida was too hot and crowded for us and this area was the best retirement place we found. The people here are all very friendly, golf courses are great, and beach is beautiful. We purchased our condo a few years after we bought our property for investment and to have a place to live while our house was being built. Turned out we almost lived in the condo one full year as our house was being built.

Beautiful view of the first hole of the Maples golf course, first floor condo so no walking up stairs, nice Village Activity Center about a 3 minute walk from our condo, beautiful family friendly Sunset Beach less than a 10 minute drive from the condo, out of the congestion of Myrtle Beach yet close enough to drive to for a day trip with plenty of activities for adults and children, and access to 3 nice on-site 18 hole golf courses.

We have stayed at this unit(s) several times and will look no further. The villa alone is spacious enough for our family of four, but with two teenagers we try to get both units because the rate is reasonable and the extra room gives all of us our private space. This unit within Sea Trail is quite convenient due to its close proximity to the Activity Center and the Maples proshop. The ground level entry is convenient and (so far) quiet. The owners are lovely and accommodating. Sunset Beach's location is great; wonderful beach, good restaurants and essential shopping, Myrtle Beach is 10 minutes away. I can, without hesitation, recommend this rental.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We were struck by the large, comfortable accommodations, including a screened porch overlooking the golf course; spacious kitchen; laundry facilities; parking in front; close walk to the guest house for the morning newspaper; and an evening walk on property near the condo. The hosts were accommodating as well, made us feel welcome, and charged a reasonable rate. Highly recommended.
