    • My husband and I live a busy life just as everyone else does. With a household of 9 and both of us being in school we desperately needed some serenity, for the weekend, which we found at the Tree House. The cabin is as charming as the pictures depict it to be with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in (outside of our own) and décor that brought home the warm feeling that one looks for when staying in a cabin. Although the cabin offers some modern amenities we were still surrounded with all of the beauties that nature has to offer especially through the outside shower. This is a wonderful place to get away! We will return again for an evening on the twinkle lit porch, a glass of wine, some relaxing music and the sounds of nature all around us. Oh, and we cannot forget Nanci’s pastries waiting on the porch for us every morning. Thank you for such a magical weekend!

      Homeowner Response:
Great couple with 7 kids I am glad I could have had a quiet refuge for you both. Come back soon.

    • Do not book the Treehouse for one night. It would be a shame not to extend your stay at this extraordinary hideaway where you can really "get away from it all". The cabin is solid, has a nice deck overlooking the beautifully kept property, is set up for comfort, and has a big shower at the back with a Dutch door opening to the outdoors. While there are facilities for cooking (toaster oven/cooker, coffee maker, outdoor grill), you are 8-9 minutes from the center of Prescott, which has great coffee houses and a wide range of restaurants. Supermarket 5 minutes away. Nanci and her five dogs, two cats and ten hens are all quietly welcoming and the setting is peaceful. We had a memorable week enjoying both the cabin and the town, and some good hiking around Prescott.

      Homeowner Response:
Thank you Rosie and Bill for making the Treehouse your home for a week. Pleasant, gentle folks who made music on the deck. So lovely!

    • My fiance and I needed a place to get away from everyone and everything. The treehouse was EXACTLY what we needed. The room was so cozy, the bed was fabulous, the pond was so peaceful, and the shower was amazing. Nanci was so hospitable and made us feel at home. We both left saying we wished we had more time to stay at the treehouse. Thank you so much Nanci! I hope we can come back soon.

      Homeowner Response:
Thank you both for coming it was my great pleasure to give you a respite from the hectic planning of your wedding, I hope you come and stay longer.

    • There's a little piece of heaven in Prescott and it's called The Treehouse. On Dec. 24/25 I had the honor of being the first guest to experience its magic. Christmas Eve had turned cold, gray and stormy by the time I arrived exhausted from my last 2 nites as a hospice nurse in Phoenix. This fairy tale cottage is situated beneath a canopy of trees with a deck overlooking a rock pool filled with Koi. You can easily imagine the flowers that will arrive come spring. There are polished wood floors, windows galore and a lodge pole pine bed covered with soft pillows and bright patchwork quilts. You can fill the room w/ music fron a basket of CDs and drinking fresh coffee while sitting on one of two comfortable chairs separated by an Adirondack twig table. Lamps made of deer antlers, antique chests, a Franklin Stove style heater, a large walk-in shower with huge jewel-toned towels (that can be warmed if you wish) are part of the cabin's ambiance. Sleep came easily as wind roared through the pines and heavy rain pelted the metal roof-- I could feel the stress melt away. Tiny lights sparkled like stars on the deck outside. Nanci arrived each morning with a light breakfast--on Christmas morning there were hot croissants and a yogurt parfait for me. Web photos don't do this place justice. As a former innkeeper from Colorado, I can tell you that Nanci has done things right. My only consolation in returning to the city is knowing that I'll be going back to stay at The Treehouse every chance I get. Kudos, Nanci!

      Homeowner Response:
Beth and I became quick friends and shared similar stories about our lives. I am so grateful to have had her as my first guest. This is such a special place for "women" to escape to. But also for those who want romantic hideaway.
