We really enjoyed our 4 day stay at this cottage. It was very clean and well kept. The bushes were all in bloom, just like in the pictures and it was very pleasant to be outside. Our teenage daughter enjoyed the privacy of the lower bedroom--it is completely separate from the upstairs area. Both areas are nicely furnished. One lesson our daughter did learn--if you feed the goose, it will stalk you for the rest of your stay!

I had a great weekend staying at this home. The lake level was back to normal and we enjoyed the great view. The teens that traveled with me enjoyed being in the downstairs room. They had everything they needed and liked their seperate space. The upper room has plenty of room and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and I found everying that I needed. This house is super convenient to Kroger, Wal Mart and restaurants but is located in a small cove on the lake so its peacful and quiet. We started our days either on the deck or on the dock and ended them the same way. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Definatley would stay again!

The picture was taken when the lake was up. They drop the level in the winter months, so you won't do much relaxing by the lake. Good place for two couples. Pretty basic, but a good value.
Owner response:We appreciate the feedback on the lake levels. Although this is out of our control, Lake Hamilton does lower the lake level from late October until early March. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and felt our home was a good value. Hope you join us again! - Amy and Brendhan

If you are going to the Lake Hamilton area you MUST see if this property is available for rental! The rental process, deposit refund, etc. are very timely. The owners of the location are very helpful in answering any questions/problems very quickly. We went for a "reunion" of four best friends from high school. The house is SUPER CLEAN, smells wonderful, and the beds are very comfortable; however we didn't spend very much time inside of the house. We spent nearly the entire time on the porch and the dock. I really don't think the pictures give this place justice! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location. If you head to Lake Hamilton, give it a try! In addition, if you stay here and you like beef....you must try Doe's!

My partner and I were looking for a quiet getaway to avoid the Christmas drama, and this home definitely fit the bill. On a quiet street facing Lake Hamilton, it has great access to Central Ave and the rest of Hot Springs. Although compact, it was clean and had all the essentials. My only complaint is that we couldn't figure out how to operate the remote for watching movies. [Operator issues.]

This is a very nice lake front cottage. It is very clean and the location is great. We could do everything from our own backyard. Would recommend and would love to visit again.

Great little house, has everything you need(cable, air, microwave, fridge, washer and drier, all the convinces of home). The second room is off to it's self(great if you have kids and would like a little alone time).Outside deck is a great place to get the family back together again and take in the beauty of Lake Hamilton.

I really enjoyed my 4 day stay-the lakehouse is clean, great location, and very comfortable-I travel a lot and this is a place I would enjoy coming back to-the only thing I would change would be a propane or charcoal grill rather than the electric one on the patio-other than that small personal issue I would recommend the lake house to family and friends
Owner response:Thanks for the feedback! We've placed a brand new propane grill on the deck for our renters' use. Hope you join us again this coming year.

Our family loved this Lake House, it was wonderful sitting outside on the deck and watching the geese, and ducks while enjoying our morning coffee. The house is very cute and quaint, and our boys loved swimming and fishing off the dock. The only draw back that I see are the future townhouses that seem to be going up very close to the house, which might take away from the cute, quiet feel that the house brings.

The location was perfect! We brought our son's jet ski and was able to dock it right there. Our six year old could not stay out of the water. The outside deck was perfect for bbq and watching our son and daughter swim. The second bedroom was not connected to the main cottage, this was a bit of a problem, but we had ample sleeping room in the main cottage.

Loved everything about this lake, house and the location was great. There were 2 couples and 2 10yr olds and 2 boats. Though a bit cramped (as warned by the owners) - it worked. By boat, your in the middle of the lake. By land, all the conveniences are available but not on top of you. We highly recommend this spot if you can get in. Regards -

Overall the experience was positive. The location is great with activities close by but isolated from the traffic. The children loved the lake and dock and Geese. The 2nd bedroom didnt work for us as it is not connected to the main house via inside door. My children were too young to trust potentially wandering outside unassisted after dark. However the main room had sufficient sleeping options to accomodate all of us.

We stayed here 5 nights in April 09; the beds were very comfortable and the gardens were lovely. Being right on the lake was great; we spent most evenings sitting outside near the water and had Canada geese and mallard ducks come by and visit. The house is on a quiet lake cove; close to Hwy. 7 without all the traffic. The lower bedroom has a mini fridge and microwave in it which was a welcome plus.
