Why the Owner Chose Aspens
I think this is one of the best locations in Whistler. It's the ultimate Ski in Ski out...the property is literally right on the run! (as are the hot tubs). It's an enjoyable 5 minute walk to the heart of Whistler Village over a covered walking bridge through a great park. It's close enough to the village to be convenient but far enough that it's quiet and relaxing. You're right on the side of Blackcomb mountain. It's also right in the "Upper Village" where there's restaurants and shopping (as well as groceries and a liqour store). It's also walking distance to golf and to Lost Lake Park. "The Aspens" in particular is a great lodge with 3 hot tubs and one of the few year round heated out door pools (and one of the largest). It's very well kept and has an on site ski shop for rentals and retail and also a ski valet to handle your skis/boards after a long day on the slopes. You literally have it all here!
