'Beach Life' is a fabulous ocean front home and a way of life you'll adapt to quickly! Find out for yourself what beach living is all about in our 2 story, 4 bedroom, 3 bath home. We have plenty of beds (2 queens, 2 doubles, 2 twins) and 2 additional pull outs to comfortably accommodate 14 people. The views of the ocean are absolutely phenomenal with the soothing waves rolling in, and brilliant sunrises.
There is a large ocean side deck with chaises and plenty of seating to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. Have cocktails and dinner on the deck while watching the sky turn bright red at sunset! The living room has comfortable Lazy Boy seating to enjoy watching the 47" flat screen......or just gazing at the view and daydreaming. The downstairs den has a 35" TV to keep the kids occupied while the adults socialize upstairs. Not to be forgotten is the private screened porch off the front bedroom. It's perfect for escaping with a good book, or having a cocktail or 2 with others. If you're an early riser, this porch is perfect for catching the spectacular sunrises over the ocean. There's free DSL, unlimited free long distance calling within the continental US, 2 DVDs, stereo, a superbly equipped kitchen, a gas grill, an outside shower, sand chairs for the beach and beach towels. We recently visited Fripp and vacationed with 3 other families. It was our first time renting a priviate home since we normally stay with friends. I could not have imagined how incredible the beach is on Marlin in front of Beach Life. It was as if we were on a private island. Due to the tides, there was 24 hour beach and at low tide the beach stretches out for what seemed like miles and created tidal pools full of sea life for the kids to explore and float in. The waves were calm, which made it a great area to swim and float. There is a large permanent tidal pool located at the foot of the steps that lead to the beach which was perfect for crabbing as well as a great place to catch large mud minnows for the fishermen in the group. This was a perfect home for the 3 families that traveled with us to Fripp Island for their first time. They are hooked and look forward to many visits in the future. The house was very airy, roomy and comfortable. We had the max occupants, and I must say we were concerned, but the layout is perfect for that. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were large. You may want to take pillows if you like extras. The sheets seemed new, and not broken in, so take your own if you prefer soft sheets. The bathrooms that were in the private room and the one downstairs are small but offer the comforts of home. The kitchen was open to the den area and offered a great place to prepare meals and take in the ocean view. Marlin is less traveled and this home is near the end so traffic is light. The covered area underneath the house is large and offers lots of space for those who take or rent golf carts along with storage for your bikes. We plan on renting Beach Life again next year and hope that this home brings as much happiness to future families as it did ours.
