  Review #5589232 This is by far the cleanest and best looked after property we have stayed in in Florida. Everything is extremely well looked after and in perfect working order. It is spotless, from the kitchen, the pool, the bathrooms, carpets and bedding. These makes all the difference to any holiday and really helps make a stay in Florida special.The area is extremely quiet and perfect for relaxing, the dock is excellent for fishing, if anything a bit too easy as it's teeming with loads of different fish. The beaches in the area are excellent, from the wild unspoilt nature of Sannibel to the talc like sand of Fort Myers. All within easy reach, you can be at a different beach in 30 minutes every day. Make certain you do a charter fish (night if possible), great fun and you are guaranteed to bring back more fish than you can eat for the BBQ. Nothing more satisfying than cooking what you've caught!The pool area is excellent, not the biggest we've seen but due to it being a sensible shape, it probably is the best we've had for pool games such as volleyball etc and it's deep, a bonus! TV channels work well and then there is the pool table, now this is one piece of serious kit! With bags of room right round it, no awkward shots with a wall in the way. We had a brilliant time and would love to go back as soon as we can !

  Hi Mike Well, we have nearly been home a week now and we just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in your beautiful villa which is situated in the delightful area of Cape Coral. There was loads of space for us all to "do our own thing" plus the use of the pool table when we had "family" time. Sitting under the lanai was so peaceful and quiet until the "younger" ones wanted to play in the pool. Thanks to Keely for ringing to make sure everything was alright and for responding to our needs quickly - very much appreciated. I would also add how well you cater for your house guests with plenty of crockery/cutlery/towels. We miss the "leap" into our beds now we have returned home. Once again, many thanks for allowing us to stay in your home. Dave & Deborah W...

  My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Villa Palmares. We rented for three weeks - wished we had rented for the whole month of May. The home is well appointed and met our expectations. Would definitely stay at the Villa again. All the amenities were excellent - including the pool that we used daily.

  House was beautiful, roomy and well maintained. Pefect for our group size of 6. Comfortably furnished and well supplied for every need. Close to everything in a very nice area of Cape Coral. I will definitely look for the house again and hope for availabioty for next years reunion, everyone enjoyed the home and highly recommend the location for any vacationer to the area.

  Villa Palmares Cape Coral Review submitted: August 8, 2011 Date of arrival: July 23, 2011 Departed August 5th 2011 Villa Palmares is a good home located in a quiet and private residential area. The home is very well equipped with everything you need for a very relaxing holiday. The Kitchen is well laid out and all the bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage. The swimming pool is a good size and is very clean and well maintained. The homeowners have given a lot of thought for comfort and cleanliness and the description given was very accurate. The pool table is a definite bonus and provides a really good alternative to watching TV. A car is essential and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets available - if you like a good steak we would strongly recommend Del Prado Steak House on Del Prado Blvd. You need to be prepared to do a fair amount of driving and if you enjoy shopping there are quite a few shopping outlet centers available and we would recommend Miramar which was about a 30-45 minute drive from the villa. A sat nav is strongly recommended as you can just type in the address and it takes you to the desired location with ease. We flew into Miami International airport and then traveled to Cape Coral. Although the journey from the airport to Cape Coral takes between 2-3 hours the roads are very good and driving isn't a problem - the sat nav also helps you get into and out of the airport! Sanibel Island is worth a visit and has some really good beaches. We also took a half day fishing trip with Capt Tony and although they crammed in as many rods as possible it was still a good day out. The information pack in the home is very useful and has some really good suggestions on what to do, where to go and where to eat. Overall we had a brilliant time at Villa Palmares and Cape Coral and wished we could have stayed for longer. The people are all very friendly and go out of their way to help you. We definitely recommend that you should strongly consider this home and location if you are thinking about going to SW Florida/The Gulf Coast. Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers

  My family and I had to forgo our planned vacation a couple of years ago due to an unexpected bout of Cancer, so this was more than a vacation to us. It was a Celebration! And this house proved to be everything and more that was expected! It was exactly as described, it was perfect! Very reasonably priced and the managers were Very accomadating and kind. The location was great! We had a very wonderful vacation and can't wait to come back again. Thank you very much for sharing you wonderful home with us and making our celebration all it could be!!   What a beautiful home! Accurately described with everything you need! We had a wonderful stay and the only thing that we needed was a few more days of vacation! Clean, well stocked with every need and much much more. The best VRBO rental in the 6 years we have been vacationing. Great accomodations, we hope that the property is available for next year!

  Our stay in Villa Palmares was really great in spite of the weather. The house was inmaculate. Excellent equipment. The pool heated waiting for us. The neighbourhood is very quiet. There were supermarkets a very short distance by car. We rented a boat but the lift was not free, so we had to leave the boat by the dock. I highly recommend this property

  Villa Palmares Review submitted: January 10, 2011 Date of arrival: December 20, 2010 We have just returned from a Christmas vacation at Villa Palmares! What a beautiful vacation home! Lots of space for all seven of us. Pool was heated and ready for our arrival. Home was immaculate and very well-equipped with towels, linens, kitchen items, BBQ and even toys for the pool! Home is located in a beautiful, quiet residential area that is perfect for walking. Cape Coral is a short distance from Fort Myers beach where we enjoyed the powder-white sand! The property management team called us immediately upon our arrival to ensure everything was in order and made it quite clear that we were to call at anytime should we need anything. Villa Palmares truly is a home away from home and we hope to return again!! Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, pet-friendly
