Escape from the gloomy skies, snow and rain this winter and come to Green Valley. Enjoy the relaxing and rejuvenating Green Valley lifestyle. Green Valley was named the “Best Place to Retire ” and is located about 20 miles south of Tucson with a desert climate. Green Valley is an age-restricted community, requiring that at least one resident be over 55. Grandchildren are welcome for visits. It offers many public golf courses within minutes away, a clean, peaceful, safe community full of friendly neighbors and no traffic jams. The climate is moderate throughout the winter months with plenty of sunshine.
The condo is located in Casa Paloma I and is a quiet, relaxing two bedroom, two bath unit of approximately 1177 sq. ft. on one floor. The perfect place to enjoy the Arizona outdoors. There are two covered patios, one in the front, and a large one in the back which has an electric BBQ, table and chairs and provides a beautiful place for just relaxing, outdoor dining, or entertaining. There are two new bicycles for your use. The front patio provides a place to sit, read, and enjoy the fresh air along with the many birdsongs. The condo is located directly across the street from one of the Recreation centers which has a large heated pool (19 laps=1/4 mile) and Jacuzzi. Green Valley Recreation membership is included with monthly rental which allows you access to the 12 community centers located throughout Green Valley. Most of these centers feature social and meeting rooms, a catering kitchen, a swimming pool with a spa, hobby/craft studios, a fitness center, tennis courts, and shuffleboard.
The condo is completely furnished including dishes and linens. The Great Room is comfortable with an entertainment center with Cable TV, a DVD player and VCR. The dining room table can be used as a comfortable table for two or open up for formal dining for 6-8. The kitchen has all the appliances including a new refrigerator with ice dispenser and new dishwasher.
The spacious master bedroom has large closets, two dressers, TV with cable and a Queen size bed. The Guest bedroom has a standard size bed. There is a full-sized sleeper sofa in the living room for the visiting grandchildren. There is an office room off the patio complete with desk, chair and high-speed internet service available. Bring your own computer. A washer/dryer are available just off the kitchen. The unit is completely furnished and has plenty of linens to go around. It’s not the Ritz but is clean, cozy, and very livable and its location is prime. A nature walking trail is just ½ block from the front door.
Rental fee includes all utilities, water, gas, electricity, trash pick-up and local phone.

My husband and I rented this home in Nov & Dec 2009. We had no idea what this "GVR" was all about and found out it is a wonderful concept. The condo is a grreat "home away from home" and has everything. The owners are very obliging and want to make your stay perfect for you. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Green Valley is a small town but has all the amenities you need plus Tuscon is a short 20 minutes down the highway. Lots of areas to explore within one half hour drive as well and all the golf you want on beautiful courses. The pools within GVR are all pristine looking and well maintained. You can do as much or as little as you wish. We recommend this vacation home to everyone.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.
