This unit is listed as a "one bedroom suite" but it really has 2 SEPARATE sleeping areas! King bed on one side and two twins on the other side. Large and private!

We loved the wide open doors and our ability to bring the outdoors inside. One area of improvement would be to have windows that open in the bedrooms. We love the tropical breezes. We were only able to have air conditioning in the bedrooms which became very hot and stuffy without using the air. Loved Dukes and all the staff an Honua Kai!!

Lived having two refrigerators with ice makers that kept us in cold drinks all week! Loved having two large baths and very comfortable showers. Huge comfortable deck, nice view, and fabulous location close to beach.

Service at the Villas is top notch. Close enough to all the action of the big resorts (for teens) while being a nice quiet family atmosphere. The kitchen is large, well equiped and stocked with everything you will need for your stay. Two complete bathrooms top notch. The only star missing is for the bed linens, the only thing that could make this condo any better is maybe a mattress topper and softer linens (blankets or duvet) on the beds.

first time visit to Hawaii and 15 night stay in D271 at Maui Kaanapali Villas. We are so grateful to the owners for sharing such a welcoming and spacious unit that contained everything to make us feel like we had not just holiday accomodation, but a home for our stay in Maui. The quality of the unit, the versatile design allowing for privacy, the two separate bathrooms, the fantastic fully equipped central kitchen and spacious lanai with fantastic garden pool and ocean views totally exceeded our expectations. The beautiful beach which was only steps away was magic and a turtle swam by us our very first day. We look forward to returning as soon as we can. Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo.”

“My husband and I extended our trip for an additional week because this spacious, light-filled rental is our vacation ideal. We have stayed elsewhere on Maui, including Hana and Upcountry, but this condo is the ultimate combination of beautiful tropical garden and convenience. Breakfast on the balcony, watching the whales frolic offshore is such a luxury. We even saw a mother whale teaching her newborn how to leap one morning! By the end of our stay, we were actually blase about seeing yet more whales. In the evening, you laze on the huge balcony and watch the sun set over Lanai. We love water sports and this place is most relaxing because we don't have to plan anything in advance. We could just grab our mask and fins and walk five minutes to either of two primo snorkeling locations - Black Rock or Airport Beach. And it is only 90 seconds from the door to diving in the ocean for a swim. The gourmet kitchen has everything we needed to cook meals, but we also opted to walk the 20 minutes for dinner at Leilanis, Hula Grill or Cane & Taro at Whalers Village, or 15 minutes to Duke's Beachfront in the other direction. The cafe at the pool is the best bet for night of arrival or departure when you want something quick and easy. This unit has lots of closet and drawer space, so it is easy to settle in after unpacking and really unwind, instead of living out of your suitcase. Since I am allergic to mildew, I also love that this place doesn't have the musty carpet you find in so many rentals - cool, clean tile floors are perfect for the beach.
