We booked this condo on a short notice and stayed for 8 nights at the Makani Sands #302 which is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath. There was 7 of us total, 2 adults and 5 kids and never felt cramped. The condo and grounds were great. Condo was beautifully decorated and furnished. Grounds were well kept and it was great to have the ocean a few steps away. The kids were out there every day swimming with the turtles. I can't say what the other units look like inside but I would definitely stay at the Makani Sands #302 again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The suite is awesome , couldn't ask for more. Great location and views and the place was well maintained.Recommended for: Families with young children

This is our 2nd trip to Maui & to this condo. this time we stayed two weeks and it was wonderful. The guys enjoyed surfing, and we all had fun snorkeling. We saw lots of turtles from the lanai, and a couple of us even got a close up view in the ocean. We did lots of shopping, walked each morning and enjoyed many happy hours on the lanai. Aloha y'all..........we are all so sad to be leaving this beautiful home in paradise. We have enjoyed the whales, the rainbows, the waves, the turtles and the activities on the water from our perfect perch on the lanai. We spent our first Christmas together here, and have made so many memories! Perfect location, beautiful decor, and all the comforts of home. This is truly the best location we have stayed at. Never been so close to the ocean. We'll miss these beautiful Maui sunsets, eating on the lanai and watching the sea turtles and the whales. Listening to the surf each night was amazing. thanks for sharing your condo with us. We were here as a family and made some awsome memories!
