We have had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home on two seperate occasions from a 5 to an 8 week stay.Turn the key to the front door ,unpack your bags and that is all you need to do. The Nantais's home welcomes you to sit back-enjoy the home and the community. Their able handyman Mr Bill who lives within the community is readily available with a simple call to render help or answer questions. The amenities are all up to date and little has been omitted to ensure a relaxing stay. The pictures on this site only gives you a hint as to how great the place is appointed and we would certainly recommend this place to friends.

We stayed in this beautiful, well-appointed home for one and a half weeks in January, 2009. What a fabulous holiday. The house was truly a home away from home in a beautiful community. It’s a very convenient location for day tripping - we went sight-seeing in the red rock area around lovely Sedona, saw a reenactment of the gun fight at the OK Corral in Tombstone (What a fact and fun filled day that was!), enjoyed the quaint, artsy former mining town of Bisbee, and took a tour of Tucson. The Basha Western Heritage Museum right in the Chandler area is also very interesting, though highly underpublicized. Google it to see for yourself. We loved the Arizona desert scenery, and the community of Sun Lakes Oakwood is truly an oasis. The opportunities for dining out were plentiful, but we preferred to cook at home most evenings in the well furnished kitchen. There are four great spaces in this home to sit and enjoy a meal -- five if you fancy eating in front of the TV. You can choose the gathering table in the kitchen, a lovely glass-topped table in the screened-in patio, the gorgeous dining room, or grab breakfast at the kitchen bar. We started or finished almost every day with a walk around the lovely lake down a little path and just across the road from the house. We’re definitely planning to return to this great vacation home.

We stayed for 6 weeks in this spacious and beautifully decorated home. We were waiting to get some renovations done to our new home, nearby in Ocotillo. It was in the middle of last summer (2008) and we were happy that there were ceiling fans in nearly every room, as well as a very efficient air conditioner. We enjoyed the summer monsoon views out the large covered patio windows. There are no houses at all behind this house, so the night sky is beautiful. The home is very clean and the TV's and the furniture all appear to be brand new. Even the dishes and linens are new. You won't find any garage sale stuff in this house. There is a private courtyard in the front of the house, plus an Arizona room in the back that will easily accommodate a party of 50. (Although the owners may not appreciate entertaining quite so many! :*) ) We would recommend this home, to anyone. It is on a very quite street with almost no traffic, and the house is very new. We had a GREAT time in March at this exceptional property location. The house is beautifully furnished, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The Arizona Room is a wonderful added feature. This gated community has all the amenities we needed. We particularly enjoyed the pool area and the community centre. The house is centrally located, enabling us to visit the town of Tubac near the Mexican border, and the beautiful Sedona region to the noeth with its many gorgeous red rock mountains. We even had time to take in a couple of baseball spring training games among the many in the region. Many varied shopping areas and a full choice of restaurants are located within a short driving distance. We eagerly look forward to returning to this exceptional vacation rental. My wife and I were returning from a lengthy overseas assignment and we were looking to rent a house for 3 + weeks, so that we could unwind and enjoy the Holidays with family and friends. We found this in Tim and Cathy's Sun Lakes house. It was all that the property profile said and more. Tim worked with us to make sure that everything was just right to make our stay just what we wanted. When we said that we wanted a barbaque, he went out and bought one. His on site care-taker, Bob, was great as well. He was always ready to help out whenever we had a small problem. He was also a wealth of information on local places and things to do.
