  We were in Oceanside for the Ironman 70.3 event and this condo was in a perfect location for all race activities, the start and the finish. The unit was clean and spacious. Once you arrive at the condo, you really don't need a car for any race events. We fit six people (and a couple bikes) comfortably. The views from the balcony were great. I would definitely stay here again!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.

  The condo provided us with everything we needed for our stay. We have rented numerous condos over the years and this one was by far the most well equipped with cutlery; dishes; cooking utensils, beach equipment, etc.. The grounds were beautiful and the pool; hot tub; etc. very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and California was well worth seeing.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

  Great stay. Loved the entire experience. My only suggestion is to let people know the stairs are really steep to get to the upstairs bedroom and ocean view. I have arthritis and it was painful going up and down. I will stay at North Coast Village again but not this condo due to the staircase being so steep.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

  Stayed here with my wife and Mother-in-Law, who were walking down memory lane, having grown up in San Diego during the 50s and 60s with my Father-in-Law, who was a Navy pilot. Weather was a little chilly, but a pleasant change from Massachusetts, where we live. Oceanside is a distance from San Diego, but even in traffic, it took just over 30 min to get to wherever we were going, and the access to I-5 is very easy. The condo was exactly as described, immaculately clean and well-equipped. The palm-tree motif that was selected for much of the decoration was clever and a nice touch. The beds and furniture were all comfortable, and the overall condo is well-maintained and quite attractive. There were instruction signs all over the condo, including one that we needed, saying to call security to light the pilot for the gas fireplace. We called just as the security patrol was starting to turn on the thousands upon thousands of Christmas lights all around the grounds - really spectacular! He worked us into his lighting rounds and was extremely pleasant. We were able to park a Toyota Avalon in the assigned parking space with one round of backing and filling - not that hard, but a renter might consider a smaller car, as the parking garage is a little tight. All told, we feld this rental was an excellent value, and we hope to have the chance to stay here again.

  Our Family had a great say at the condo. We just had time for a quick holiday trip to the beach and this place was great. Clean and well kept. Nice view and great location. Great beach despite being a holiday weekend it was surprisingly not over crowded. The grounds were peaceful and beautiful. Was nice to have a place to wash the sand off before heading back to your room. Great places to eat nearby. Our stay was too short our kids didn't want to leave. I had to send a cashiers check to the owner and was very hesitiant but everything was as promised. Thanks for the great trip!

  The property was well described and the photos give a good impression of it. Everything was clean and tidy and we very enjoyed our two week stay. The upstairs room and roof top patio were outstanding. The setting of the condo complex was outstanding with ready access to the beach, harbour and strand. The complex itself was very well maintained and the staff very helpful. The pool, hot tub, and gardens were well used. One needs a car in order to access grocery stores, etc. The train station is within a walkable distance and one has good and cheap access to San Diego. Within Carlsbad and Oceanside there are also a large number of attractions. Overall it proved to be a good base to explore the area. By and large the condo was well equipped. A kettle would have been nice and the entry door and requires some work. Access to the internet was a problem unless one paid for an external service. From the description we had thought this was included. (The wireless router was on, properly identified and the password accepted but access to a server was denied.) No hesitation is recommending the condo to others.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

  Beautiful views and sunsets. Had fun collecting sand dollars. Weather was cold-cause that was the time of year we could come. Otherwise very nice and sunny till last day was rain. Beautiful landscapes. Condo was very nice and great!

  Enjoyed the cooler weather on the beach and watching our grandson play in the waves and sand. Discovered Seaport village by the Coaster train and Coronado Island by ferry boat. Legoland was another day with lot's of rides and fun. Weather was warm and a little cloudy. Much cooler than PHX. Great temps. Thank you for a mcuh needed and overdue family vacation. It's been fun making great memories at the beach for us all!

  Weather was cloudy in the morning. Afternoons were warm adn sunny. Lovely climate. We went to San Diego for a tour and the zoo. Chilled out at the beach, eat our a lot and enjoyed the experience at Joe's Crab Shack! Loved the location and sound of the ocean at night
