Oceanfront Views at an Oceanside Price!

Why the Owner Chose Avon
Hatteras Island is still somewhat remote. Avon is centrally located near the largest grocery store, movie theatre, and restaurants. There is no driving on the beach during the summer months so you can let the lids roam a little. It’s very safe.
Off season you can drive the beach and collect shells and fish. Dolphins can be seen from November through the winter months. October is famous for its surf fishing tournaments – especially red drum. Thanksgiving is a great time because there are few crowds and the weather is usually good. Light jacket for the beach walk and you are fine.

The sunrise and sunsets from the deck are amazing. It's very quiet yet quiet convenient to everything on the island.

After many years of searching I finally purchased a home on Hatteras Island. My overall intention is to make the home as comfortable as possible. Having rented in the past, I was always disappointed that smaller homes didn't have the amenities that the larger houses tend to offer. I tried to consider all of the things I would like to have on our vacation and the aesthetic qualities of the experience as well. Let's face it, No one wants to live in an ugly dumpy house for a week. The kitchen is very well stocked, from food processor to cheese knives.

My family and I recently had a fantastic vaction at Artists and Anglers. The house was exactly as pictured and the kitchen was furnished with EVERYTHING one would need to prepare a meal and so much more. The high light of the evenings/nights was the fantastic assortment of jig saw puzzles and games. I would definitely encourge my friends and family to try this rental for a fantastic vacation.
