Are you looking for an escape for a weekend, or a week? A place to restore your mind and soul? Well, I have the place for you... It is called the Dreamcatcher, a 3200-square-foot cabin high atop Hatcher Mountain in Wear's Valley, Tennessee.

It is just seven miles from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It is so close to great music theaters, outlet shopping, restaurants, and craft shops... not to mention the wonderful hiking trails, mountain streams, and views to be found in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park just across Wear's Valley (about three miles to the nearest entrance)... but when you get to the cabin, you feel you are in another world away from the hustle and bustle, at the end of the road, with woods on three sides.

The cabin has three bedrooms:on third floor - one antique furnished king-size bedroom and two queen size couches in a front loft and back den area; 2nd floor - 1 king size antique furnished bedroom;1st floor - one queen bedroom and 2 double futons, for a total of 14 sleeping areas. Every room has an outside wall of floor-to-ceiling glass... all ceramic tile and oak flooring, with gold fixtures, 15 built-in speakers for CD sound, six-foot indoor jacuzzi, large private outdoor hot tub, gourmet kitchen with banquet-size table, 360-degree covered decks, sunrises and sunsets over mountains. The perfect escape for quiet, peace, and serenity.

  • I give this property an A +++++ I just had to write you this morning and let you know that we absolutely loved the Dreamcatcher. The view was spectacular as you had said it would be. The cabin was furnished so it made us feel right at home and when we return, you will definitely be the first one I call for our rental. The Dreamcatcher was totally untouched in comparision with the other cabin we stayed at. I can hardly wait to return and hopefully next time the leaves will be in their fall colors. We stayed busy going here and there. We visited Cades Cove, Gatlinburg air tram and shopping, Pigeon Forge shopping, Black Bear Jamboree and took the ride over the Smokies into Cherokee, NC and drove further on over to the Deep Creek Park and hiked up to the waterfalls. All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the cabin most of all. Cindy it was such a pleasure to do business with you, I feel like we have been friends forever and I will no doubt be staying at the Dreamcatcher again. It just won't be soon enough for me.   • Our family, including 2 married daughters and their spouses, twin granddaughters, and our niece, stayed at the Dreamcatcher for Christmas 2006. We all had lots of room and privacy, but we seemed to gather either by the fire or down in the game room. The cabin was more beautiful than the pictures. The views from the decks were breathtaking. Even though it was cold, we enjoyed our nights in the hot tub. We can't wait to stay their again. Special thanks for all the beautiful Christmas decorations.

  • Staying at the Dreamcatcher was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. The sunrises and sunsets were wonderful. We enjoyed being able to eat our meals with such a lovely view.   • What a beautiful place. Quiet, peaceful and the view from all sides of the cabin are breathtaking! It is close enough to attractions if you choose to go, yet serene. A truly wonderful choice. The cabin was immaculate and extremely well stocked. A true "10" not only for the view but for the amenities.

  • The Dreamcatcher cabin was a bit like a piece of heaven. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was so full of the owners personality that you could just feel the love that went along with the wonderful view. Maybe inside with the full glass or outside on the front porch. In the AM when you got up early to see the fog lift in the valley it was truly like a piece of heaven. The view was more than the pictures show. If you are looking for a place to spend some time and get away from it all, this is the place that will do just that. Thanks Cindy and Bob for making your home sooo enjoyable.   • If you are looking for a place to relax and catch up on the good things in life ...this is it !!! We enjoyed our time at Dreamcatcher so much we cried when we left ! There is so much to do in the area but you don't want to leave this beautiful house! From the comfy beds and panoramic views to the front porch ( we actually got up at 6 every morning to see the fog leave the valley and hear the cows and roosters ), this house is the VERY BEST!! So roomy and to sleep on the upper decks is heaven. We had more room than we needed...with 5 kids and a dog ! The owners have left so much love behind for their guests to enjoy...you feel at home...only better...you have the view and hot tub !!

  • What a beautiful place to spend the holidays ... snuggled up with a fire in the fireplace, beautiful views everywhere and endless decks for our daughters' adventures! We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen too.
