The location and cabin layout was pretty cool. Unfortunately, that was the only good part. After we arrived, my mother sat at the dining table and nearly fell to the floor because the chair was broken. After further inspection, we noticed that every chair at the dining table was broken. The suana did NOT work at all. Nor did the big screen TV or some of the remote controls in the bedrooms. The dishes were not clean at all, cups with lipstick marks, pots and pans with crusty substances stuck to them, not to mention the cob webs and just overall lack of clenliness which doesnt make sense because they are suppose to have a cleaning crew that you pay for after your departure. When we called the property manager and the cabin owner about the problems, they did say that they would send a handy man and cleaning crew out to take care of everything IF WE STAYED AT THE CABIN AND WAITED FOR THEM. Not sure about you, but when I spend the money to rent a cabin and enjoy the lake and mountain, I do not want to be stuck in the cabin waiting for service people. A real disapointment seeing as how some of our party drove over 8 hours to get there. Still no further responce from the property owner.

I was lucky to find such a great place with such cool owners! My booked a weekend for my family and some friends to goto Big Bear and am I glad I found this place! Not only did it have WAY more room than expected, it was priced very reasonably for this type of rental on a holiday weekend. There was a minor plumbing issue at the cabin and the owner came up him self to fix it! Turns out he is a plumber and a super nice guy, he drove almost 3 hours to take care of it...thanks again!! The location can't be beat its close to everything. My friends and family had our best trip to Big Bear yet. If you are looking for a great spot to stay with plenty of room and extras, this is the place for you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for 8 of us and definitely fit more people comfortably. Loved the spacious master bedroom. Pool table and hot tub kept us entertained that we didn't feel a need to stay out late at the Oktoberfest. The property is on a great location that the house literally stood in the middle of the woods for a great walk in the morning, and being so close to the marina for a fishing trip at the lake. We would definitely rent this house again may be in the snow season for a snowboarding trip to the Bear Mountain. This trip definitely encouraged most our friends to come back for more.

We would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone! The property was accurately described in the listing and was very clean and well taken care of. The owners were very easy to work with and easy to communicate with. The home is very spacious with lots of different areas for groups of people doing different activities. This home is located in a nice area of Big Bear Lake with plenty of parking. It has a very open floor plan and wonderful large glass windows(more like walls) for that feeling of being outdoors even while indoors. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back! There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room.We have rented in Big Bear for many years and this is one of the nicest homes we have rented and the owners are fabulous! Loved the jacuzzi!

Our first family vacation with the extended family and Everyone loved the cabin and location. The cabin is well maintained, spacious, and located just across the street from the lake. Our mistake, we drove to other locations before discovering that the marina across from us had all the same water activities and more (i.e. tubing - the only other location lost their license). Definitely a great experience, from booking with the owners all the way through our stay of 4 nights and 5 days! Side note - there is a 99cent store right next to Vons - they have everything you need if you forget anything (helps the pocket book)

We enjoyed our stay at the house over 4th of July week. The property was just as described and location was convenient. Close to a marina with plenty of boat rental options and only a short drive into the downtown area. The owner was very responsive and ensured the keys were available at the property manager location since we were arriving on a holiday. The house was very spacious - we had 6 adults and 3 kids and didn't feel cramped whatsoever. We utilized the spa and sauna and all amenities were included (towels, sheets, dishes, etc.). Areas that could have been improved: * Beds: There were plenty of beds to fit our party but the comfort level of the beds was not ideal. Our bed squeaked very loudly whenever anybody moved around and was not comfortable (very hard mattress). Other people in our group also complained a bit about comfort issues. * Furniture/Carpet: Couches, chairs, and carpet were all showing their age. Shag carpet was not filthy but also not super clean. We found stains, food, etc. in some parts of the rug and the couches were old and a bit musty smelling. * Ants: Lot of ants around the outside of the property and found quite a few inside. Made it challenging to eat outside on picnic tables. Overall, the house was good, not great. We did enjoy our stay and would recommend the property at the right price. If you are looking for space, location and amenities, I would suggest this property. If you are looking for an upscale, spotless, "fancy" type of property, you may be disappointed.

THIS CABIN IS ONE OF THE BEST CABINS I HAVE STAYED AT FOR THE PRICE. IT IS EXTREMELY SPACIOUS AND HAS EVERYTHING TO ACCOMODATE YOUR NEEDS. ALTHOUGH WE WENT DURING A RAIN STORM AND WE WERE FORCED TO STAY INSIDE MAJORITY OF THE TIME, ALL 11 OF US DID NOT FEEL AT ALL CRAMPED OR UNCOMFORTABLE STAYING INSIDE THE CABIN. IT WAS VERY COZY AND THE SAUNA WAS A SUPERB BONUS! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE STAYING AT THIS CABIN AGAIN AND HOPEFULLY THIS TIME THERE WILL BE LOTS OF SNOW! THANKS AGAIN TO THE PROPERTY MANAGERS FOR A WONDERFUL STAY.

I came up there with a group of friends for Oktoberfest and weekend getaway, and everyone LOVED THE CABIN!! This is a lovely home in excellent condition, comfortable, and spacious. The house is as beautiful as the photos and very comfortable to stay in. It was the main highlight of the trip--in short, the whole house was AMAZING!!! We had no problems with the property whatsoever, and the owner was a pleasure to work with. If you rent this place, you will definitely not be disappointed. Already planning next year’s getaway weekend!

This place is incredible and able to comfortably accommodate large groups. I like to cook and this kitchen was well stocked and fun to cook and prepare meals in. The kitchen looks out to the pool table which made everyone feel like we were in the same room. The decks (front and back) are large and relaxing, shaded by the nearby pine trees. The grill is huge and cooks a mean steak. I would definitely recommend this place for a guys weekend.

We had three families and the home comfortably accommodated all of us. The pool table provided endless hours of fun. The location is also great, directly across the street (and within walking distance) of Pleasure Point Marina. We originally booked for 4 nights, but ended up calling the owner and extending our stay an extra night, which was no problem and hassle free. The only two things I would recommend is having larger towels in the bathrooms, the one's provided were very small, and also having the carpets shampooed. Overall our stay was excellent and I would recommend staying here.

The listing description was accurate regarding the location. The home was very clean and well-maintained. My only suggestion is that there be a couple extra sets of towels and sheets. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. I received my security deposit back right away. I would definitely recommend this property and would consider renting it again in the future.

We had a great stay in this home. There were 4 adults & 4 children in our group & we felt so comfortable there. Everything you can think of was provided & the home owner was a pleasure to do business with. Rent this house & you won't regret it! ps. The hot tub was awesome after a long day

Thank you for opening your home for my family to enjoy. Cabin was gorgeous with tons to do. Very roomy for large groups and across the street from the lake. Picture does not do the cabin justice. Will definitely rent again. Thank you!

Very spacious, very fun house. Clean, nice appliances, great location. The management company was very responsive when the hot tub turned up green. Very good value... a lot of house for the money. My only complaint... lots and lots of outdoor deck, but no seating. Consider bringing your own folding chair or lounge. We'll rent this one again.
