From the time you wake in Sunnybank's tropical setting surrounded by Mango, Grape fruit, Banana, Lime, Avocado, Herb Gardens and other exotic fruit trees which you are welcome to pick when in season. Watch the arrival of the cruise ships as they enter the port of Bridgetown, to a afternoon stroll on the beaches or snorkeling in the coral reefs that abound with beautiful tropical fish, to the time you relax on your patio or sun deck at the end of your day while watching the spectacular sunsets, you will be glad you chose Sunnybank as your "Home away from Home".
Every Suite has a Queen size bed, security bars, ceiling fans, air conditioning, bedside table lamps, full set of linens and towels changed twice weekly or on request, well equipped kitchen including toaster, oven, stove, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, and plates,glasses & cups.
Sunnybank is a short 10 minute drive or bus ride from Bridgetown, the island's capital, where duty free shopping is a must. But, beach combing and shopping are not all that Barbados has to offer. For the more energetic, the varieties are endless: golfing, horseback riding, para-sailing, all types of water sports or a cruise on one of the many party boats including the world famous Jolly Roger pirate ship. Or, spend a relaxing afternoon at a game of majestic polo, played by championship winning, international teams. The possibilities for relaxation and fun are endless.
Within walking distance are a grocery store, and many restaurants. By request a traditional dinner prepared in your apartment and served on your patio with views of the beautiful West Coast water can be arranged for a fee. A short drive will take you to historic Holetown where the first settlers landed in Barbados, and where the opportunity to shop, party and dine at fine restaurants is limited only by your imagination.
Tours of the island with its spectacular beauty, deep-sea fishing, a trip on the Atlantis submarine to watch the wonders of the ocean, glass bottom boat trips, Harrison Caves, Sam Lords Castle, Welchman Hall Gully and much more can be arranged. The owner, who lives on site part of the year, will assist you with car rental and arranging any of the above activities.
