Location: Morgantown, Fort Morgan, Alabama, USA (Approx 14 miles from Gulf Shores, AL)

Accommodations:  House, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths (Sleeps 9-10)

From the moment you arrive, you will enjoy one surprise after another starting with the breath-taking view on the front deck where you enter our beautifully decorated, upscale house.

The interior is European decor with textured walls and tiled floors throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with all stainless appliances and granite counter-tops. The dining room boasts a large pub table for dining and family games. The den has a large TV equipped with sat/DVD and two full sized couches for lounging with two windows that look directly at the Gulf. There is also a deck and sunning area just off the den with great scenic views. On the first floor there is a full bath and bedroom with a double bed for those that want some privacy. There is also a twin daybed in the living area and two couches which could possibly be slept on.

Upstairs are three bedrooms. One has a queen bed with SAT/TV and another has 2 Twins with TV/DVD. There is a full bath that can be shared by the two. The master bedroom has a king bed and SAT/TV with a master bath featuring a large double vanity and shower with two shower heads. DSL and WiFi are also provided. A large deck off the master bedroom has gorgeous views of the beach. All porches have comfortable seating.

Underneath the house you will enjoy cooking on a charcoal grill while sitting around a large teak table surrounded by shell gardens and oleanders. The best part of this area is the outside shower (hot and cold water). There is nothing better that coming in from the beach and taking an outside shower, putting on comfy PJ's, relaxing on one of the many porches and watching the sunset.

We require a refundable deposit to hold your dates and the total rent due 30 days before check in. Our refund policy requires a 60 day notice or you forfeit your deposit unless we can rebook and collect rent for your dates. Sorry, but no refund due to early departure due to inclement weather, mandatory hurricane evacuation or personal reasons. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance.

  • We just got back from ten days at Kokomo! What a wonderful place to stay! I don't think the pictures on the web site do it justice. It is very very nice and very clean as well. Perfect location (especially with kids)..just accross the street from the boardwalk to the beach and the other side of the street is the pool (which was never crowded). We also left our tent and beach chairs, toys, etc on the beach every night and nothing was ever disturbed. Security cars are in the neighborhood regularly. Great place to relax..can't wait to go back! Owners were also great people that are very nice and helpful.

  • We just returned home from a wonderful week at this property. The house is well maintained, clean and in a great location. Our group has traveled to many beach homes over the years and this place is better than advertised. The owners were prompt and responsive and even called when we arrived to make sure everything was in order. Wish we didn't have to leave.

  • Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with my family there was so much roon for eleven people to move around. I like having the outside shower when coming in from the beach it definitely saved on bringing sand into the house plus it was a huge success with the children. My husband thinks one of the unique features were the porches. Shade in the morning on the front porch then shade in the afternoon on the back and side porch. We had a wonderful time, Kokomo is A PERFECT PLACE TO EXPERIENCE A WEEK GET-AWAY.

  • This is my house and it is exception. There are no comments because this is first year rental on our home. It is my place to go and relax. The beaches are natural the neighborhood is great.
