This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom cabin is the perfect vacation rental. We provide all the amenities for a memorable vacation.
The cabin boasts a beautiful cathedral ceiling and knotty pine paneling throughout the entire cabin. The beautiful wood fireplace is perfect to cozy up to and the large family room is great to sit and relax in. Be sure to check out the videos of our cabin so you can get a better understanding of how cozy our cabin is. Grill some steaks or burgers on the gas grill in the back yard.
There is a beautiful patio, complete with furniture, that is perfect to lounge on and enjoy the crisp mountain air.
Our cabin is located on John Muir, which is adjacent to the lake - there are no other streets between our home and the lake. There aren't lake views, but we are only a 2 minute walk down to the lake. The village is a 5 minute drive and Cedar Glen is only a 3 minute drive away. This is truly one of the best locations on the lake.
The large family room is complete with a TV, DVD player and local cable stations.
Bath towels and bed linens are not provided and must be brought up by each guest.
Private dock is located just a short walking distance away. Dock is covered, and has patio table and lounge chairs. Cool off with a swim right off the dock - swimming is permitted within 50ft of the shore. Perfect spot to spend summer afternoons!

My husband and I took our grown children and 4 grandchildren to the cabin in early March and had a great time. Spent time on the dock and also played in the snow. We went hiking and in the evening drove to the Village and had pizza while the kids played in the arcade. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and was very cozy. The only thing I would suggest is being very careful on the stairs inside the house. They are a little steep and slippery and my daughter fell down the last three. Maybe a carpet runner would help.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This was a last minute trip up to the snow and it was fantasic the cabin was clean and cozy! The weather was perfect it snowed a lot the Friday before and snowed the last night we were there. There is a 5 min walk to the lake which is a must the lake is beautiful I wouldn't mind going back in the summer. Booking the cabin was a breeze the information Adrienne provides you with is very helpful. We will be definitely going back, thank you Adrienne our family had a great time!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at the Cozy Americana Cabin for my wife's birthday & pre-baby #3 mini-vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the the cabin. There was some snow on the front porch & back yard for the kids to play in as soon as they woke up each morning. The kids curled up together (THEY NEVER DO THAT) in front of the fireplace and watched a movie together each night while mom got some time to read & dad tried not to think about the LA Kings Championship ceremony he was missing (haha!). My son Micah is already asking to go back, which we will definitely try to do in the near future. The cabin is in a nice area, away from the traffic of the village, but close enough to go for a bite to eat or to pick up a pizza in a matter of a few minutes.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a very nice time. The property was very clean and stocked. Location was great and the dock was a great plus, even though it was a little farther from the house than expected. The beds were very comfortable. The steps to the upstairs are a bit slippery but we were careful. We would stay there again. We did wish there was cable TV for some of the bigger news channels.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a terrific time at the cabin and dock. Adrienne and Andrew were great to work with and highly responsive. The cabin had everything we needed. We loved the "Americana" theme throughout and enjoyed the Lake Arrowhead area with our 5 year old. We did a TON of research for our vacation, and found that this place had everything we were looking for at a great price: great space (both indoor/outdoor), lake rights, great dock, and kayak! The dock is a short walk away, and we had dinner there a few times. No bugs and beautiful sunsets!! The location was great too! Close to the village, beach clubs and wildlife sanctuary. We look forward to our next trip up!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My husband and I enjoyed the peaceful setting of this cabin. The best - having morning coffee on the shady deck in the trees and enjoying their private boat dock with a covered sitting area just a 5 minute walk away. We took our lunch down there and soaked in all the lake views and even had a quick swim. The walk around the lake was also enjoyable. It was very hot when we were there- high 90's, but luckily we only used the downstairs BR (with a fan borrowed from upstairs) and were fine. Not sure if anyone could have slept up there during the heat wave though...We brought our own sheets,pillows and towels, shampoo, hair dryer etc. The kitchen had a coffeemaker and everything neccessary for light cooking except a toaster ( I used the broiler in the oven!) The worst-The cabin was a little rustic for my husband .Overall it is just what you would expect for the price, no frills, and it is an older cabin after all... Best restaurant was the Grill at Antler's Lodge in Twin Peaks but make sure you have a reservation.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our group had a wonderful time at the cabin in Lake Arrowhead. It was clean, easily accessible, and enough room inside and out to relax and enjoy ourselves. The dock was a nice short walk away and the neighbors at the dock were super friendly. We loved the 2-person kayak. Have some great videos and laughs from using it. The upstair bedrooms could be a little warm during the summer. You may want to bring a fan. Also, there was only one large trash can outside in the back yard. Our recommendation to the owners would be to provide a recycling can as well. By the end of our stay, we didn't have any room for trash. Thank you again. We definitely plan to revisit the house in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
