Four Miles to center of charming and well known New London. 15 minutes to Sunapee or Ragged Mtn Ski. 1.5 hours to most skiing in all of NH or VT.

Year Purchased: 2005
This has been my primary home which had built 5 years ago. The kids are grown and gone and I use the house only part time. It is fully furnished with every amenities. No sterile rental feel. I designed the house for lots of family interaction and the kitchen as the focal point of the home. The high ceiling and ample south windows really bring the outdoors in. I have lived in the area for 20 years. Especially enjoy the pristine area, convenience to nearby lakes and skiing. Out the back is all wooded. no houses in view, no noise.
Why the Owner Chose Newbury
The site is very private, some local views, and close to New London ( 3 miles) the backyard backs up to 100+ acres of pristine forest. Access to beautiful Lake Sunapee nearby with sandy shoreline and lake bottom. Golf and skiing are nearby. I like to go to Ragged. Never crowded for skiing or golf. Plenty of hiking trails and old roads to explore. City life is half hour drive (Concord or Hanover)
The Unique Benefits of this House
The quiet and privacy. Blast the stereo, yell, its okay. Or hang out on the deck and watch the birds, and occasional wildlife. No one will bother you. Big back yard, with flower and herb garden. In the winter can go tubing right in the yard. The design of the house is great for family. The large kitchen is well laid out and amply fitted up.
