Originally built in 1800's and I completely restored the house in 2006. My 1860 square foot home features; Brazilian cherry floors, stone and marble bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, custom paneling, wall to wall in bedrooms, greatroom with wet bar and fireplace, full living room, sitting room, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, guest bedroom with guest bath and full butler's kitchen to service the 26 x 26 rooftop terrace.
From the private rooftop terrace you have a wonderful view of the Old State House, Trinity Church, and the charming gas lit streets in the historic district.
This all seasons home makes it a great getaway any time of the year. Ideal for executive rental, vacation rental, academics, photography setting,transition home between buying and selling.

This house was even better than the pictures show - the house is completely updated and lovely. It was very clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities to feel like our own home. The deck is huge and beautiful - the perfect place to relax or have a romantic meal. The owner graciously answered all our questions and provide us with information on restaurants and attractions. And besides being an amazing house, it was in a perfect location. We walked to everything - restaurants, the waterfront, and the mansions. I would highly recommend this house to any adults. If we go back, and we certainly would love to, we would definitely stay here again!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

The house was absolutely lovely! The pictures, while accurate, don't do it justice. It's perfect for entertaining, and the terrace is a perfect spot for sharing a nice bottle of wine with friends. The location is an easy walk to everything. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is probably the best place I have ever rented through VRBO. Everything about it is perfect: the location, the lay-out, the decor and all of the amenities. We had several friends visit during our stay and every one of them said that they would like to ditch their own houses (contents and all) and move in exactly as is. Our visitors from Australia loved every minute of their stay and are already planning a return visit. Newport is a lot of fun and this house gives you ideal access to everything.

Your house was so fabulous we really hated to leave. Sooo much better than even the photos. We loved the rooftop terrace, so romantic at night. We'll be back!
