Our ski group was very satisfied with this house. It was perfect for our group...every one had their own bedroom and bathroom and there were lots of areas to sit and read or have a quiet conversation away from the group. As we are into food the kitchen was very well equipped and was center of all of our evenings......lots of space to work plus it had two refrigerators for food and beverage. The games room was used each night and was a great addition to the fun. The hot tub and wave pool were great. All in all this is a great house in a great location with easy access to all the mountains in Summit County. Dick is a great host and will help you with anything you need.
Owner response:Thank you for staying at our home, we appreciate your business! Hope to see you again next season. Thanks Dick Boylan

I organized the location and housing this year of our guy ski trip. Frisco was a great location for multiple ski areas, and for the town. The house was a huge hit with the guys. We stayed in and had catered meals. The guys didn't want to go out, the house was so great with the pool table, hot tub and media room. We also used the in house massage room staffed by a local spa. We had a great time and every one was comfortable in their rooms. Lots of bed rooms easily accommodated 16 men. Three late comers had to sleep on comfortable couches in order to not share a bed, but they could have doubled up in queen size beds. Everyone wants to go back next year. Can't say enough.

Our family just spent a fantastic week at Dick's Last Resort. This home is spectacular and so much more than the pictures represent. The location is an easy walk right off of Main St. in Frisco with convenient shuttle access to local ski resorts. This home has been extremely well designed and furnished to help make a vacation a special life time memory. There is plenty of room for spreading out the family and a wonderful dining area for bringing everyone together for meals. The kitchen has two refrigerators and is equipped with most everything you can need for prep and cooking. The game room with pool table was great fun. The two programmable massage chairs were used every day. The hot tub and indoor pool were thoroughly enjoyed. A large conditioned entry area was perfectly setup for storing ski equipment and keeping wet footwear out of the living area of the home. The abundant fireplaces are nice and the beds extremely comfortable. The humidifiers in the bedrooms are a nice touch. The master suite is amazing and almost like another house. The home owner was easy to contact and showed genuine hospitality in making us feel welcome. This incredible home and Frisco made for a trip we will always remember. If you are a "flatlander" like us, keep in mind Frisco is at an elevation of over 9,000 feet. You may need to prepare for that kind of altitude if you are not accustomed to it.

All 18 of us enjoyed this lovely, spacious Frisco home for Thanksgiving. We used every room including grilling one of the Thanksgiving turkeys on the grill outside! We enjoyed the home very much and all the wonderful amenities. It was immaculate and impeccably decorated yet so homey and comfortable. In addition, the location was very nice. Quiet yet conveniently close to the cute shops and great places to eat in Frisco and close to the shuttle stop too. We felt like we were in the hub since we went to Breck, Copper, Keystone, shopped in Silverthorn, ate at the Dam Brewery in Dillon…jWe really packed a lot in. And then we had the mixed bag of weather too – from a few incredibly blue sky days to watching it snow. The week was completely enchanting, and we just want to thank you for having the perfect home to allow it to unfold.

We held a family reunion this past June 2011 at the above property with 13 people attending. The listing photos accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities. The property was very clean and well maintained. The property owner was only a phone call away if we had any questions regarding our stay. The property is easy walking distance to downtown Fresco, a lovely community with shops and restaurants galore. We also were close to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Vail and the Outlets for shopping. We all had a wonderful time and would recommend this property to large groups for fun and relaxation. You won't be disappointed.

We celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary with our family of 16 ranging in age from 11-73. The response upon entering was a resounding wow! This place is incredible! Very clean, week stocked kitchen, tons of room and so much to do. We had a fire, grilled out on the beautiful deck, swam, fished, played pool and relaxed in the massage chairs. The location is perfect for so many different activities. The owner was very attentive, checking in with us throughout the week!

This house was wonderful. Great location and great weather (we're from Texas, so cool in June is a real treat). Excellent, conscientious hosts. Very well stocked kitchen. We are a group of 9 couples and this is our 4th year to take a vacation together. We have a great time every year, but this trip will be hard to match. This house was perfect for 18 people. You could all be together or be on your own, plenty of room for both. And the large deck overlooking the pond was perfect. We go to a different place evey year, but I know we'll come back here again.

We just arrived home from a fabulous week in Frisco (June 4-11, 2011), and this home proved more than we could have asked for. The setting is perfect, and every amenity you could want is in the home. The kitchen was incredibly well appointed, and we couldn't have been happier. There is ample space for everyone to spread out and have some privacy. The beds were wonderful, and the kids enjoyed the pool and pool table, along with feeding the trout. This home, and the community of Frisco, are wonderful, and our entire family (ages 9 - 70) found plenty to do and enjoy. The local shops and businesses were a joy, and we loved the bike trails that took us all over the town and county. This home is in a perfect location, with easy access to Main Street and within minutes of the grocery store. Can't say enough good things! Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We hope to be able to come back to Colorado!

This home has everything we needed/wanted for our family group of 18. Kitchen is very well equipped. Lots of dishes, pots & pans, etc. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room for everyone. We loved the indoor hot tub and resistance pool, billards room, and game room/theater room. We loved the deck and gas bbq. There is a great place for fire to make smores! Beautiful location. We loved the town of Frisco and the friendly storekeepers and residents. Great for bicycling. We towed a trailer with 11 bikes and they were used a lot!! Great fun riding the paved trails connecting the Summit County towns. Also found the free county-wide bus shuttle very helpful. Our family had a wonderful time and hope to vacation in this home again. Definitely recommend it for family groups. Our group is from mid-Missouri and we loved the cool weather and low humidity. Rafting was a highlight of our trip; along with touring a mine, hiking mountain trails and biking. Also enjoyed shopping in Frisco. Great coffee shops and small stores.

This property is definitely the best place we have ever rented for a family vacation - we had 8 adults and 6 children. The house was immaculate, looked even better than the listing photos, and in a perfect location. Easy to get from the house to the bike path, easy to walk downtown, close to pizza! The owner was incredibly helpful and accessible to answer questions. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have been in for the last 25 years of vacationing in Colorado. The many rooms made it really nice for finding a quiet place if you need one, but the main areas can accommodate everyone at the same time easily. The back deck is glorious with a lovely view; we grilled and ate outside several times. The pond was a fun attraction for the kids; they loved feeding the fish. We took family pictures right on the property - looked like we were right at the foot of the mountain! It was very quiet; we never heard other people or cars. Since we had small children we took advantage of nearby parks - one that we could bike to in 5 minutes and a huge one in Silverthorne. We also drove to the ski lifts in Keystone. Grocery store is very close as well as Walmart. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a luxurious house - you definitely cannot tell from the outside of this house how awesome the inside is until you open the door. We were all amazed and we hope to return in the future.

Third year renting the condo. New improvements have made it even nicer. The location makes a great central point to ski all of Summit County resorts. Handy to all of the shops and restaurants and shops in Frisco.. hope to rent again next year.

My group of 13 has stayed at this home for two years in a row and have just reserved a week for next year. We have stayed at other homes in the area prior, but nothing comes close to the quality, cleanliness and interaction with the owner. The obvious selling point here was the size of the home, however, the amenities (including number of bathrooms, fireplaces, TV's, etc.) just added to the overall experience. If you have never stayed here, just look at all of the photos supplied on the website- what you see is what you get- there are so many rooms and each one is delightfully decorated with its own character. The location of the home also could not be more perfect- it is centrally located for all the ski mountains and is walking distance (blocks, not miles) from Main Street in Frisco. I hope to continue coming to this home for years to come.

Place completely exceeded my expectations for a ski trip with 12 guys. We had easy access to 5 ski resorts in 5 days. We all had our own bed, and never got crowded. The place was amazingly decorated, and well maintained. The property is managed very well, and communication with the property owner and and manager was immediate. Although I only live an hour away, if I ever have a need to be in Summit County with 10 or more people during any season, I'm looking up Dick's Last Resort.

We were looking for a place that was in close proximity to a variety of winter activities and could also accommodate a large group ranging in age from 1 year to 50+ years. Our daughter and her family were the first ones there. When we asked what the house was like, our son-in-law responded "AWESOME!". That one word said it all. There was plenty of open space so that we could easily gather as a group, but there were also plenty of rooms so that anyone wishing a little peace and quiet could easily find it. The on-site amenities made sure that everyone, no matter what age, was ever going to be bored...unless they wanted to be!

As a group of Colorado teachers, we have rented private homes all over Colorado for our ladies annual retreat. This home was by far the most beautiful, well maintained and elaborate home we've found. The rooms were decorated beautifully and the pool and hot tub were a nice added bonus. The owner and rental agency was accommodating and made us feel welcome. We were in walking distance to shopping, sight seeing and hiking. We liked it so much that we stopped looking anywhere else and are planning a second visit in the spring.
Owner response:Thank you for your review and we look forward to your next stay with us in April!!!
