This is a freshly renovated and decorated end unit villa, now with a luxury kitchen complete with all new appliances, granite counters and beautiful maple cabinetry, plus a luxury master bath with an oversized shower. Plus, the lr/dr photo on this site is outdated: The living and dining areas are now tiled, and there is all new furniture. The property is just a three to five minute walk to the world famous VanderMeer Tennis Center and a five to ten minute walk to Hilton Head's wonderful beach or the Shipyard golf course and club house.
The rear of the property, accessed by sliding glass doors from the living room and the master bedroom, has a new screened porch (with dining table and chairs) and an oversized, gated deck that provides privacy and is perfect for entertaining and also containing your small children. The porch and deck overlook a lagoon and the Shipyard golf course. The Tennis master pool is located just steps from the front door in a lovely, natural setting.
The villa has living and dining area (with table seating six), kitchen counter dining area with 6 stools, master bedroom (king bed) and master bath. The second floor has two bedrooms (queen in one, twins in the other), each with a full bath, and each with sliding glass doors leading to small decks.
Shipyard Plantation itself is a private, gated community in a great location on the Island. It has many wonderful biking and walking paths, green spaces, lagoons, and beautiful areas with natural vegetation. The grounds are very well cared for yet maintain a natural, unspoiled quality. Many excellent dining and shopping areas are close by car. Savannah, GA. and Beaufort, SC are very interesting side trips, especially for history buffs, and can each be reached by car in about one hour. You can also take a ferry from the Island to Savannah, a great trip on a nice, warm day.
