The house was a good price, but not what I would actually call a "Luxury Rental". It was in a nice location. Walking distance to both the beach and river. We went during June on purpose. We are looking into moving to the Ormond Beach area and wanted to visit for an extended time during the hottest time of year. Average temp during our stay was 93 and 60+% humidity. This was expected, however the temp in doors was tough to keep comfortable. The house has been converted from a 2 bed, 1 bath, to 3 bed, two bath, but the air conditioner has not been upgraded. During the day, it was all the unit could do to keep the house from being uncomfortable for us. On the good side, the house was very clean and convenient. Anything you could need or want, just about, was available and it made for a nice stay. We really liked the availability of free national phone and internet. I work from home and this allowed me to bring my work on vacation, getting it done easily without having to go find somewhere with internet access. Overall, it was a good week. The "limited time special rate" was just right for the stay, but I really wouldn't expect to pay more for the same accommodations.

Owner response:I am in the process of having the AC unit repaired. It has maintained a cold temperature in the past. It's not a matter of needing to be upgraded as just to be serviced. I apologize for any discomfort caused by this issue. Had it been brought to my attention while you were staying with us, I would have had it repaired sooner. Nice home close to the ocean in a quiet residential neighbourhood. About a 15 minute walk to the beach. An easy walk to shopping, medical centre, groceries, etc. Very clean, bright and airy home. Extremely comfortable brand new beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Very enjoyable. We were a party of 4 adults and we had plenty of room and privacy. I would highly recommend this vacation home. The owner is very caring and concerned for the comfort and well being of his tenants.

Wow, I just can't get over my experience at this vacation hot spot. It was a very nicely decorated and super clean place with all the fixings! We had free internet, phone (long distance in the States and Canada!) and satellite TV with lots of channels. I loved the fact that there was a DVD and VCR player available and real comfy couches to lounge in. The beds were super comfy too! I also really enjoyed the fact that everything you needed was right at your finger tips. There's restaurants and stores right up the street. The beach was only a 5 minute walk, the beach was fantastic by the way! The grocery store was around the corner and walkable. The other way you can drive about 5 minutes and enjoy the pier by the river. We spent so many nights walking by there (very romantic). There's even a park for the kids and a park bench swing that was my favorite. If you drive by Flaglier beach you can really enjoy a great seafood meal for under $20. Unbelievable value and the food was just mouth watering. I can't wait til our next vacation to Florida and we'll be sure to rent this place again. Thank you for the fond memories, Grace

Hello, My husband, three children and I stayed at this immaculately clean comfortable home in July for 2 weeks. We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were extremely comfortable. We liked the fact that there are afew TVs so when any of the kids were up early they stay quiet. We enjoyed walking in the neighbourhood and to the beach. Cooking in the kitchen was nice too. The kitchen is inviting, spacious and clean. The free laundry in the house is for me an added touch of thoughtfullness. I was able to finish all my laundry and pack everything up ready to be put in its place when we return home. Thank you for allowing us to use your property Kosta. We will definetly be back.

Our recent stay at your property was absolutely perfect! So close to the beach and the property itself was so clean and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for another trip in the near future. I couldn't believe we got to have such a fantastic vacation home for such a reasonable price!
