Highlands Retreat is a newer home located in the prestigious Highlands at Breckenridge subdivision. Our home is located within Breckenridge town limits (five minutes to historic Downtown Breckenridge and the gondola) and features nearly 6,000 square feet of luxury living space with high-end finishes throughout. Breckenridge offers the perfect year-around-get-away in the Colorado Rockies. We look forward to the possibility of having you stay at our home to celebrate family, friends and traditions.
On the main level you will find a beautifully appointed living room with a huge moss rock fireplace, cathedral ceiling and wet bar with wine cooler for relaxation after a day of activity in the high country. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room and breakfast nook. Kitchen amenities include stainless steel appliances, a double oven and gas cook top along with an oversized island and granite countertops. There is seating for 16 guests, the formal dining area has seating for 8 along with 4 barstools at the island and the cozy breakfast nook with seating for 4. The wrap-around deck has access from the kitchen/dining areas and provides outdoor seating and gas grill.
The southwest corner of the main level features the secluded master suite with a king size log bed, fireplace, flat screen TV, cathedral ceiling and antique stained glass accents. The master bath has an elevated tub, walk-in rain shower for two, double sinks and custom stone finishes. The main level also has a guest bedroom furnished with a queen bed, fireplace, flat screen TV and private deck with views of Lake Dillon and the surrounding mountains. Adjacent to the guest room is a half-bath.
The upper level has another master suite featuring a king size sleigh bed, full size sofa-sleeper, TV and private bathroom. Across the enclosed bridge overlooking the courtyard you will find the bonus and bunk rooms. The bonus room features a king size bed, queen size futon, flat screen TV, sitting area and full bathroom. The last room on the upper level is the bunk room furnished with 2 sets of twin size bunk beds and 2 twin beds for a total of 6 beds. This room is ideal for the kids or adults that don’t mind dorm-style sleeping arrangements.
The walk-out lower level includes a family/game room along with a wet bar/kitchen (full sized refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave oven). The room is also appointed with a 3-sided gas fireplace, pool table, 60” Runco home theater with surround sound and another TV for your game/video connections. The double french doors provide access to the hot tub area. The lower level offers lots of space to entertain family/friends. Also on the lower level are 2 bedrooms each furnished with queen size beds, TV’s and separate/private full bathrooms along with a half bathroom adjacent to the game room.
Other amenities include garage parking, courtyard area with snowmelt system, decks, BBQ grills, wireless broadband internet, I-pod docking stations and all the comforts of home to ensure a relaxing stay. Highlands Retreat is a place you will want to call home during your next visit to Breckenridge.

Our group has used this house for the past 3 years for a large get together every December. It's awesome! Most of us live in Denver but there are several out of towners who visit each year. Any newcomer is blown away by this house! It's fully furnished with everything that you'll need. I've rented many houses that say they are fully furnished but you often end up needing to bring reinforecments- especially for the kitchen. The owners are great to work with and they try to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible- they even have a crib and small booster chair for kids! I'd recommend this house to any large group looking for a great weekend in the mountains!

We just spent Thanksgiving at this magnificient home which looks down the mountainside to Lake Dillon in the far distance. There are 6 large bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses. They each have their own bathroom; all are full baths but one (it is a half bath with another half bath on the lower level.) The master suite is huge with a sitting area in front of a gas fireplace--there are 4 gas fireplaces in the home. The heated tile floors in the baths are so nice in the morning. The bunkroom for 6 kids is spacious and fun for the younger group--it is off the third king bedroom, so the kids do have to walk through that room to get to the rest of the house.The furnishings are excellent as are the flat screen televisions. The interior ceiling rooflines make this home in itself awesome. There are 3 garages all available for use and a recyling area for the trash. The outside courtyard drive is heated, so getting luggage in and out is easy. Since we were individual families, we especially appreciated the separateness of many of the bedrooms from each other. The king on the second floor had the cutest baby crib in it as well as a pull out couch for one family. The owner/manager couldn't be nicer. We were delighted with this home.
