  This is our second winter at Pompano Heights and it is a comfortable home for our two month stay, It is very well equipped with tvs, radio, CD player, and hairdryers in each bathroom. There is HBO and we can tape programs when we go out to dinner. The deck is an excellent spot for catching the sun and breeze from the gulf. It is a two short block walk to the the Inlet Beach public access. The kitchen has everything you would want so cooking in is fun. Pompano Heights is right next to Rosemary Beach so we can walk to breakfast, lunch or dinner, coffee and newspapers. There is shopping of course and a nice bookstore. It is ideal for us. We don't use the pool, although it is nice and I am sure gets a lot of use during the season. It can be heated if you'd like. There is a nice table and chairs for al fresco dining around the pool, a grill and a table and swing under the house for lounging. The owners are great and helpful. The house is clean and the grounds well kept. A great place to stay to see this beautiful part of our country.

  Ditto on all the other reviews; we couldn't have said it better! To those comments, we'll add that the beach area for this neighborhood was remarkably uncrowded for a Fall Break/October week (our favorite time of year to visit) as opposed to neighboring Rosemary Beach which is separated by an invisible line. There is also a public beach access just east of this property which is handicap accessible if guests find steps to be a challenge. There are lots of parking spaces and a bathhouse, and it, too, was amazingly uncrowded. Additionally, the house has a pool person that comes weekly even in the pouring rain, and when the job is complete, the pool is sparkling. Another plus for Pompano Heights is that there is only one flight of steps to access the house which is a definite plus for beach goers with bad joints carrying in groceries, luggage and/or bodies exhausted from enjoying the sand. As if all that weren't enough, the WIFI connection is super!! This proved to be a wonderful unit for us. There are only two in our "party," and it is difficult to find something to rent that is not well-suited for huge groups. We began recommending it to others while still on site! A word of caution: Pompano Heights is immediately off 30-A and maybe one-half mile from Hwy. 98, and although there is a sign clearly designating the access street as ONE-WAY, many drivers, including construction workers, choose to ignore it. Beware with children and when backing out. As a result of the many menus available in the house, we decided to try The Terrace Restaurant. It was a great dining experience. You would not be disappointed.

  The place was perfect. We loved the location. The beach was private, quiet and clean. We enjoyed the privacy of the pool too. We also drove to Pensacola and had the pleasure of meeting the Blue Angels and watching them fly. We hope to return to your place again in the future we loved it.   Such a wonderful house! Very clean and well maintained. The best part was the pool and large outdoor area. Very close to the beach. The owners were very helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. We liked it so much that we are going back next week.

  My family took our first trip to South Walton this summer and we were impressed with the Pompano Heights property. It was easy to find, had lots of room for a family of 5, easy access to the beach and an awesome swimming pool which I had to pry my kids out of each day. We would recommend the property to other families and look forward to our next visit.

  We have stayed at this home several times and love it so much we recommended to our neighbors, who have also vacationed here. The location is unbeatable, steps from a wonderful, largely secluded beach. It is a very short walk or bike ride to great restaurants, shops, a wonderful coffee shop and all the events in Rosemary beach. The house is incredibly clean and well appointed. We have two small children, so the private pool was great. There are also two world class golf courses within a 10 minute drive (Camp Creek and Sharks Tooth) as well as snorkeling, swimming with Dolphins etc. Overall a great house and great location, would highly recommend.

  This house was perfect for our family of 4, plus 2 additional vistors for a few days. Well-stocked kitchen, short walk to the beach as well as to the Rosemary Beach square. The house and property were clean and live much larger than would appear. Will definitely look into renting the property again in the future! Thanks for a great time!

  We really enjoyed staying at your beach home. It was just a short walk on a small paved road to the beach and it was extremely nice having our own private pool to relax in. The kitchen was well stocked and it was really nice having a washer and dryer available. The pictures accurately reflect how the home looks. Some good restaurants in the area are McGuire's Irish Pub in Destin, Bud & Alley's rooftop bar and restaurant in Seaside, and Red Bar in Grayton beach.

  The location, house and pool are excellent. The house is right beside Rosemary Beach so it was very convenient to walk or ride bikes there to enjoy the restaurants and shops. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed and the pool was great a very private. We definitely plan on returning to Pompano Heights.
