We loved our stay at the Pompano Heights Home. It was VERY, VERY clean and was just a short walk to the beach; which was NOT crowded at all for springbreak week. (which we absolutely loved). We were able to rent kayaks, chairs and umbrellas right there. Our boys (4 teenagers) loved the private pool. The pictures/description of the home was exactly as promised. My husband and I were able to stay in one bedroom with bath and the boys were able to stay in the other bedroom (2 queen beds) with their own bathroom as well. Very large closets to store luggage, etc. Layout of the home was very user friendly for a 2br house. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at Pompano Heights with our 2 children (ages 4yr and 8yr) for spring break last week. Our family wanted to be near Rosemary Beach....we love to bike and walk to eat and play....but without paying the Rosemary Beach prices. At Pompano Heights we were able to stay South of 30a (the beach side) and literally next door to Rosemary Beach...for a great rate. We biked or walked to dinner each night. We easily biked to an outdoor concert in Alys beach. We ran each day on the running/biking trails right outside the door. The home was very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all you would possibly need...perhaps even better stocked than my kitchen at home! There were boxes of games, puzzles, and videos for the kids. The pool was perfect. It is ample size to play, swim, and float. The pool deck is large with ample seating. We were able to eat lunch at the large patio table by the pool each day. Beach access is a breeze. We rode our bikes....but it is an easy walk, as well. It is a straight shot down the street...straight to the beach. No roads to cross. The street is very quiet, and is "one way"...so not much traffic. The owner was so helpful, with quick responses to any questions I had when deciding to book our stay. When we decided to book, the rental agency was extremely easy to work with...and checking in and out was a breeze. Overall...this property is fantastic. I can't wait to be able to stay there again!

We had such a great time staying in your house! It was a nice short stroll to the beach which was nice and unpopulated. The pool was so great. Our kids would have swam all day and all night if we had let them. We have three small children (5, 3, and 7 weeks) and it was great for all. The house being all one level was a huge benefit with the little ones. My husband and I really enjoyed the deck after the kids were asleep. The view of the stars is amazing! The house was immaculately clean and well stocked. We were very comfortable and loved staying here. Shannon was very nice to work with. She was very prompt responding to email and so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!! We hope to return soon!

A Great Two Months in Pompano Heights

We spent January and February 2012 at Pompano Heights and it was a great stay. We have been renting on 30-A for years, staying in condos and houses on the beach. This house, up Winston Lane, about a block from the beach, is just about perfect. There were two of us for most of the time, with several visitors. The space is well designed and provides privacy. Nice closets with hangars!! The outside deck is great for the sun and breeze, the pool is nice and big. There is a grill, a table downstairs and a swing. It is a short walk to Rosemary Beach for coffee, papers, lunch and dinner. Shades is in the opposite direction for lunch, dinner, and sports TV. We walked over to LaCrema in Rosemary Beach for New Year's Eve. It was a lovely evening. There are two bedrooms and two baths. It is clean and well kept. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and is organized and tidy. It is bright and cheery and gets lots of sun. The pool is well maintained as is the grass around the property. We loved having a DVR to tape programs if we were out to dinner. The photos on VRBO reflect what the home really looks like. (This is not always the case with photos on this website!!) The owners checked in via email to see how we were doing. The management company got us a replacement microwave the same day we called. The first time in a new rental always takes a little getting used to. But Pompano Heights was a breeze to adjust to. It is obviously a well maintained and loved home for the owners. We would recommend it highly and plan to be here again next winter!!

We throughly enjoyed our visit to Pompano Heights, the beaches, and 30A area. The house and pool were wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Pompano Heights has very easy access to the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. The owners were very accomodating and answered all of my questions. We definitely will consider Pompano Heights on our next visit!! Thanks for sharing your house with us!

This place was wonderful. We spent a week here in August and had a great, relaxing vacation. It has a good size pool and it very close to the beach. We like to cook and this place had all the tools necessary to cook all of our favorite meals. There is a seafood market, grocery store and many other conveniences close by. We ate at George's and Stinky's Fish camp and both were delicious meals. the owner of this property was very easy to contact and very proactive about making sure we had a great stay. We hope to make a return trip next year!

We had a really great time. It is a perfect place for a single family or group of 6 or less.We were really impressed with the well-stocked kitchen - better than any other house we have ever rented. We loved the covered parking - keeps the car cool in the shade - and plenty more covered space for the kayaks, beach and fishing gear. The outdoor shower is also very handy.The pool is great. We loved the secluded feeling even though it's right off 30-A. Very little road noise due to well designed property.The outdoor grill is very nice and a luxury since they are banned at most condos. It's a quick few minutes walk to the beach at the end of the street. We will likely return to this area and will definitely consider this house again - literally in Rosemary Beach's back pocket. A great value given all the ammenities and location.

Our family (including two teenagers) had a great time during our recent stay at Pompano Heights -- beach access was great, all the amenities of Rosemary and a quick drive to many restaurants and Pier Park. The house was very clean, comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. We were able to relax on the beach in the mornings, swim in our private pool in the afternoon, and take in the restaurants/nightlife of the surrounding areas in the evenings. Our family will return!

Our stay at Pompano Heights was perfect. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very functional and fully equiped. There was plenty of outdoor space, sun and shaded areas, and of course a wonderful private pool. This home has a great location. There’s a short pleasant walk along a quiet road to the beach. Our young kids enjoyed safe cycling as we strolled along the ‘green’ to Rosemary Beach ‘town square’ for dinning, shopping or just a simple ice cream! We enjoyed our stay very much and certainly would return.

Excellent location - very short walk to the beach, literally next door to Rosemary Beach. Spotless on the inside, plenty of parking. Lots of outside areas - porch up top, pool area was nice to eat lunch at. Would definitely recommend.

Great home.Fully equipped. Great privacy in Inlet Beach with short walk to Rosemary Beach. We walked to the old pier at the inlet(by the state park) and encountered only three other people. Will hopefully be back next year for two weeks. One was just not long enough!

Thank you for a wonderful week at Pompano Heights. The house was perfect: Sparkling clean, stocked with everything we needed, warm and bright. We felt relaxed the minute we opened the door. The pool was the perfect temp and size and we were amazed at how private it felt. Loved that we could enoy the quiet of Inlet Beach but walk to Rosemary Beach in a couple minutes and enjoy the wine bars, shops, restaurants..and of course the Sugar Shack. The whole family enjoyed our stay. A great vacation!! Thank you Shannon and Harry for being so helpful. Both you and the realty company took care of everything we could imagine needing and made us feel at home. Looking forward to next year!

Although it has been a few years since we stayed at Pompano Heights it was just like coming home again as soon as we entered the door! Everything was PERFECT! We love the cleaniness, decor, pool and the close proximity to the beach, restaurants and Rosemary. Since we stayed for 2 weeks, we especially appreciated the well appointed kitchen and grill! We'd love to keep this wonderful beach home "our little secret", but that would just be selfish and would deprive so many families from having a great beach vacation! We MOST definitely will be back next April! Thanks Shannon and Hank for your meticulous care of your wonderful home! PS~ LOVE the new deck!!

We have been staying at "Pompano Heights" for years. My daughter has grown up in this wonderful beach house and considers it her own. The house is very clean and comfortable. Inlet beach is a quiet and peaceful stretch of beach and the amenities in Rosemary beach are a plus! I highly reccommend vacationing in this house.
