Wild Lily Cabins - in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State - Your Gateway to the new Wild Sky Wilderness
If you want to be in the forest and on the river, then, Wild Lily is for you. Come stay at our cozy retreat in a Native Growth Protection Area near the town of Index, Washington, just 30 minutes west of Steven’s Pass. Here you can marvel at giant Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, carpets of moss, and walk on the secluded beaches, watch eagles soar, soak in the tub after skiing.
Enter the Wild Lily House and you immediately feel enveloped by the cozy surroundings: hardwood floors, pine tongue & groove walls, river rock fireplace, rainforest marble counter, displays of rocks, gourds and pottery that connect with the earth, and large windows with breathtaking views of the forest and canyon.
Crack open a window, and you can hear the river. The only traffic sound you're likely to hear is the train that occasionally passes 1/2 mile from here. In Spring, you'll certainly hear the birds. If you don't want to venture out to the hot tub, you can soak in the claw foot tub. The bedroom is in the large open loft. Sleeping accommodations include a queen size log bed with natural latex foam mattress and full size futon sofa in living area. Attached to the bedroom, in one of the gables, is a small meditation/yoga room. The House is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, pots, pans, dishware, and more.

I have always felt most spiritually connected in wilderness, and never tire of taking walks along the river and seeing the many shades of light in the water, the clouds, the mountains, and seeing ducks, Bald Eagles, Salmon, Beaver,... I try to give back a little by being involved in wilderness preservation, and invite others to join.

We just got home from our weekend at Stevens and I wanted to thank you again for your hospitality. We had a wonderful stay at Little Cabin and were so pleased with Wild Lily! You have such a gorgeous piece of property with beautifully created and maintained cabins. I slept like a rock in the cozy loft bed listening to the river rush by. We wish you well and appreciate everything. :)

My husband and I along with another couple were looking for our first Cascade's getaway and were a little skeptical about what we would end up with. We found Wily Lily and thought it looked wonderful; we were certainly not disappointed! The cabin was cozy and well appointed (we especially appreciated the filtered water) and with all the cooking we did we were glad everything in the kitchen was easily located and accessible. The hot tub was fantastic and the little beach area by the river was an unexpected surprise. We spent a good part of one day hanging out there reading and relaxing. And on the last night we got to enjoy a nice fire in the living room. We'd love to go back someday.
