Our condo is in the new Trailhead Lodges complex. It is one block off Main Street in the middle of downtown Winter Park and right across the street from the new town park (Hideaway Park). Hideaway offers playground equipment, a skatepark, free music concerts in the summer and sledding in the winter. The free town bus shuttle picks up right in front of our complex and will take you to the resort or around town. It is a short walk to shopping and many fabulous restaurants and coffee shops.

The complex offers a beautiful clubhouse with year round outdoor heated pool, large hot tub, fitness center, large gathering area with two story stone fireplace and kitchen for reunions, weddings, etc., an outdoor picnic area with 2 gas grills and fire pit for relaxing. All this is just steps away from our building.

Our unit is on the ground floor and sits at the back of the property where the views from our large, private wrap around deck are spectacular. Take your morning coffee outside, pull up one of the deck chairs and watch the sun rise over the divide or see if you spot a moose grazing in the meadow. At night you can throw some steaks on the grill and watch the sunset turn Perry Peak from orange to purple to blue. This unit will make you feel like you are away from it all, yet be just steps from all that the town offers.

Why the Owner Chose Trailhead Lodge

We bought this condo at Trailhead Lodges because of the layout, the location, and the views.
This condo has everything on one level. No hiking stairs to get to bedrooms.
The porch really grabbed us. It is not just a small balcony off of patio doors. It spans the length of the condo and wraps around the corner. The Fraser river runs 20 feet behind our building and you can hear its gurgle from the condo. The deck provides a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee, watch for wildlife, read a book, photograph the mountains, or enjoy a meal.
When you are ready, you can walk out the other side of the building and be a 5 minute walk from shops and restaurants. Our son loves to be able to walk over to the skate park and spend a couple hours testing out the bowls and making new friends. He can just wak home when he is exhausted (or hungry).
In short, this condo offers the peace of the widlerness AND the convenience of the town.

Our family considers Winter Park to be our home away from home. Kevin grew up in Denver and has lots of family in the area. We love to come visit family and be able to enjoy the beauty and fun that Winer Park offers.

We rented this condo for a winter vacation with another family. There are two nice bedrooms, each with a full bath and then a bunk room with another full bath. The kids crashed I'm the bunk room that is away from the main living area, so we could stay up and talk. The upgrades on the unit are nice with a great fully equipped kitchen and a really nice entertainment center set up. The view out the back is great and the location in Winter Park is ideal with an easy walk to the sledding hill and playground. There is a free shuttle to the mountian as well that runs every 30 minutes. Enjoy!

Spent a week in June. This is a very nice place. We were comfortable and felt spoiled. A luxurious accomodation. Sit on the deck and you feel like you're in the middle of the forest with no one within 10 miles. Then go out the other side of the building and you're a block from everything! We felt like it was priviledge to stay here and would love to go back.

We stayed here in early January. The unit was well furnished and in excellent condition. The location was very convenient for town and the free shuttle. A nice public park is also nearby. The owners were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
