Our 3-bedroom, 3-bath villa, built in September 2002 is roomy, spacious, and comfortable. The villa has 2000 square feet of living space, cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans, a large master bathroom, generous closet space, and a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. The master bedroom is located on one side of the villa away from the other two bedrooms, offering quiet privacy from the rest of the villa. Each bedroom has a private full bath.
Our uniquely situated second floor villa has windows on all four sides and offers ample sunlight and panoramic peaceful views of the 5th and 6th fairways of Shipyard's Clipper golf course. Whether a golfer or not, you will appreciate these spectacular views from the cozy Carolina room where you can watch players tee off, chip over the lagoon or putt for a birdie. In the cooler months, sip a warm drink in front of the fireplace.
When you are not relaxing in the villa, sun and fun are just minutes away. Our guests receive a parking pass for Shipyard's beach or you can cycle to the beach in 10 minutes. The resort offers a large on-site swimming pool and two tennis courts. Just down the road in the Shipyard Plantation is the Vandermeer Tennis Club. If you prefer golf over tennis, Shipyard has 2 golf courses. There are many more courses throughout the Island. Besides swimming, golfing, and tennis, other activities include biking, kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, horseback riding -- and the list goes on.
If you decide not to dine at one of the many great local restaurants, our villa has a spacious well-appointed kitchen with plenty of counter space and up-to-date appliances ideal for preparing meals. The large dining room and convenient breakfast bar provide plenty of seating. After dinner, settle in the comfortable living room to read, chat, play games, or enjoy the flat screen high def TV or watch a DVD. Additional TVs are located in the Master, Queen, and Twin bedrooms, each with DVD.
The villa has free high-speed wireless internet and free unlimited local and long distance calling throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

A shared pool and tennis courts are on site. The beach is a short cycle ride away. This villa is close to local golf courses and has easy access to the beach and other points of interest on the island via two different access roads. The numerous bike paths in Shipyard plantation make renting a bicycle a great option for getting around to see and enjoy the island up close.

Could not say more about our experience! Last second decision to go 4th of July wknd and Tom (who was on vacation himself on the other end of the country) could not have been greater! The place was awesome (very clean, well decorated, much bigger than pics show!) It was everything we had hoped for and more! Was very impressed by Tom and the Villa!! Wish everything else was as true to form and easy as what we read and viewed online!! Thanks again for everything as our 4th was amazing because of it!

We were very happy when we walked in and saw the place. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The place is large and slept five and a child comfortably. Even though we didn't spend a lot of time there, the television, kitchen and laundry room were well used.
Recommended for:Sightseeing.

We have stayed on the island several times before, but this is the BEST villa - definitely can call it home away from home. It is comfortable, roomy, and has everything you would want to make your vacation the best. Since it is on the second floor, it allows the villa to have wonderful vaulted ceilings which makes the villa feel even more spacious. We have always stayed in other areas in Hilton Head, and found we were always traveling the island to get to the places we wanted to visit. When staying at this clean and up-to-date villa, we found ourselves saying, so many times, "It is just around the corner!" Perfect location in the Shipyard Plantation area! Well-equipped kitchen on the days we wanted to do a home cooked family meal but close to all the great restaurants and activities when we were ready to go exploring. Tom and Linda supply you with a beach access pass when traveling by car to the shore, but it is also a great bike ride on the shaded, flat bike paths. We frequented the tennis courts and the relaxing community pool. The villa has three full bathrooms for the three bedrooms, which worked out wonderfully for us and our adult children and their spouses. The competive pricing will encourage you to rent this fabulous villa, but your experience will make you want to come back to this villa year after year. Communication with this owner was never delayed - through email or phone, Tom was always available. When we visit Hilton Head for our next vacation, there is no doubt that we will rent from the Brightfields again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at M2 Golfmaster. By far this was the nicest Golfmaster that we have stayed in. We have stayed in L2 and E1 over the past 8 years and M2 has the best layout and decor and location out of all. We have looked at other properties in Shipyard, Palmetto & Sea Pines but nothing compares to Golfmaster and nothing compares to M2! We had an AWESOME time on our Thanksgiving trip.

By far,one of the cleanest and most spacious accomodations we've stayed in at HH. The "Carolina Room" was a big plus, just to sit and read. Tom made us feel like we had known him for a long time. We highly recommend the beautiful villa to everyone -- our family just loved it. Us women are very picky where we stay.

Beautiful property. Secluded and off the beaten track. Spacious accomodation with modern decor and "like home" furnishings. Convenient location to large swimming pool. We've stayed at numerous places over the past 10+ years, in Shipyard, Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes, including condos and private houses--this without a doubt is the best!
