Our Golfmaster II 3-bedroom, 3-bath villa, built in September 2002 is roomy, spacious, and more comfortable than the original Golfmaster villas as well as many of the older villas on the island. The villa has 2000 square feet of living space, cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans, a huge master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, Corian countertops, generous closet space, and a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. The master bedroom is located on one side of the villa away from the other two bedrooms, offering quiet privacy from the rest of the villa. Each bedroom has a private full bath.

Our uniquely situated second floor villa has windows on all four sides and offers ample sunlight and panoramic peaceful views of the 5th and 6th fairways of Shipyard Clipper golf course. Whether you are a golfer or not, you will appreciate these spectacular views from the cozy Carolina room (sun room) where you can watch players tee off, chip over the lagoon or putt for a birdie. In the cooler months, sip a warm drink in front of the fireplace.

When you are not relaxing in the villa, sun and fun are just minutes away. Our guests receive a parking pass for the beautiful Shipyard beach or you can cycle to the beach in 10 minutes. The resort offers an on-site large swimming pool and two tennis courts. Just down the road is the famous Vandermeer Tennis Club. If you prefer golf over tennis, Shipyard Plantation has 2 golfcourses and there are many more courses throughout the Island. Besides swimming, sunning, golfing, and tennis, other activities include biking, kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, horseback riding, dolphin watching -- and the list goes on.

If you decide not to dine at one of the many great local restaurants, our villa has a well-appointed large kitchen that is ideal for preparing your favorite dishes with plenty of counter space and new appliances. The large dining room and convenient breakfast bar allow for plenty of seating. After dinner, settle in the comfortable living room to read, chat, play games, or enjoy the 42 inch flat screen high definition (HD) TV with HD service and DVD. Additional standard-def TVs are located in the Master, Queen, and Twin bedrooms, each with DVD.

The villa is equipped with free high-speed secure wireless internet and free unlimited local and long distance calling throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

A shared pool and tennis courts are on site. The beach is a short cycle ride away. A main attraction of this villa is the proximity to local golf courses, easy access to the beach and other points of interest on the island via the two different access roads. The numerous cycle paths in the Shipyard plantation make renting a bicycle a great option.

  • By far,one of the cleanest and most spacious accomodations we've stayed in at HH. The "Carolina Room" was a big plus, just to sit and read. Tom made us feel like we had known him for a long time. We highly recommend the beautiful villa to everyone -- our family just loved it. Us women are very picky where we stay.

  • Beautiful property. Secluded and off the beaten track. Spacious accomodation with modern decor and "like home" furnishings. Convenient location to large swimming pool. We've stayed at numerous places over the past 10+ years, in Shipyard, Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes, including condos and private houses--this without a doubt is the best!

  • My wife and I have been renting the M 2 GolfMaster unit for the past 5 or 6 years and we really appreciate the new improvements you have made to an already outstanding suite. I have stayed in other GolfMaster units and yours IS THE BEST we have stayed in by far. We enjoy the elegant but friendly vacation feel your place has and we have never been disappointed with your personal service. In addition I love the corner location overlooking the green and fairway view outside the back Sunroom. Also, with your location it very convenient to go out the back gate to Pope Road to some great restaurants and Coligny Plaza or going out the front gate to highway 278 avoiding the circle altogether. Yes, it is an easy bicycle ride to the beach. As you know I have recommended your place to others and they all have had nothing but great things to say about renting your suite. The only thing I do not like about M 2 GolfMaster is that I do not own it !!!!! Check out the available dates you will not be sorry.

  • We had a great time at Hilton Head and our stay at the villa made it extra nice. We had 6 people (4 teenagers) and had plenty of room. Having 3 bathrooms was great and the master bedroom was on one end which was nice. Tom was very accomodating and let us stay 5 nights instead of the usual 7 at this time of year. The villa was very clean and spacious. Thanks for letting us stay!

  • We had a great time in Hilton Head and loved the accomodations. The villa is spacious and nicely decorated with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is located in such a peaceful setting with beautiful views which makes it a perfect place to get away and relax. It is centrally located which made it easy to get to the beach, restaurants, shopping or anywhere we wanted to go on the island. Tom and Linda were great to work with.

Honestly, the accomodations, ease of getting around and just the ambiance of the surroudings was ever so pleasant. And I'm tougher than my mother-in-law. Our only problem, we couldn't enjoy it longer. Next time!

  • We had a wonderful time. The villa was beautiful. Like others have said the pictrues of the villa do not do it justice. It was spacious, beautiful and new looking which is what we love.
