  Oh my goodness!!! This is thee cutest, cleanest, nicest beach house we've stayed at! Perfect for our weekend get-a-way with friends and kids! Loved the décor and all the amenities. So nice to be right on the "Central Park", Would love to return in summer months to take advantage of the park's play structure and fire pit etc, House was very close to beach access. So thankful to be staying at such a nice house considering weather was a tad WET, we didn't mind staying "in", cooking meals in fully equipped kitchen and just relaxing in the hot tub etc etc. We HIGHLY recommend Sandcastle Beach Cottage for a perfect Oregon Coast get-a-way! Can't wait to come back!

  A last minute decision to travel to the coast brought us to the Sandcastle Beach Cottage. This was our first time visiting Lincoln City and we loved it. Olivia Beach, the community that the Sandcastle Beach Cottage is part of is absolutely adorable! The house itself is gorgeous! And I'm picky! It's super bright, clean, fresh and beautifully decorated. So many vacation owners seem to furnish their rentals with their old outdated furniture and decorate it with lots of clutter and cheesy decor. This house has updated, beautiful decor and was furnished with super comfortable furniture. A king size bed is essential when we travel, we have two small children that always seem to end up in bed with us. This king size bed is super plush and comfortable. The sheets were soft and not scratchy and annoying. The kitchen has everything you need for making meals, they even had cupcake pans when we suddenly had a desire to bake a treat. Everything about the home was high quality and tasteful. The location of the home was perfect for us! The park directly in front of the home was enjoyed by both our 5 yr old and 2 yr old boys. The beach access was very close and the beach itself was clean and peaceful. We enjoyed running and collecting shells on the beach. There are a TON of stairs to get to the beach, but we didn't mind. It would only be a problem for someone that isn't handicapable. There were some issues with the WIFI and so we were allowed to go into their other rental property 2 doors down to investigate the wireless router. That property VRBO/315741 is just as GORGEOUS, but much bigger! Would be perfect to stay in when we travel with another family! It has double decker wrap around porches that I imagine would be awesome to hang out on during the high season! Jessica was super helpful and very apologetic about the WIFI issue. She is having the cable company resolve the issue so it shouldn't be a problem in the future. I appreciated that there wasn't a super long check out procedure like we have experienced with other vacation rentals. I don't mind doing a few things to help out the housekeepers ready the house for the next guests, but when you have two little kids running around it can be challenging to pack, load a car and do an extensive check out list. The check out list at the Sandcastle is very short. All in all it was a wonderful trip and I only wish we could've stayed one more day! Hopefully we'll find more time to come out and stay again!

  Our stay at the Sandcastle beach house was perfect. Not only was it a lovely home but it also had additional luxury amenities that made the stay very enjoyable. It was perfect for our small children as well as pre-teens. Jessica was awesome to work with and went out of her way to make it a pleasurable experience. Would definitely recommend and will book in the future. Thanks so much!

  This Beach House is perfect for a large family or friends getaway... Perfect location and just steps away from the beach, beautifully decorated, and everything you could ask for to feel at home. This home is exactly how it is pictured and described in the listing, extremely clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive and attentive to our requests. Our Family enjoyed 4 days and 3 nights over Christmas, including decorating a Christmas Tree, opening many gifts, cooking lots of food, playing at the park, taking a trip to the Casino, shopping at the Outlet Mall, and eating at Kylos Restaurant, all within a short distance of driving. We would highly recommend this property for your Oregon Coast experience. Book it, you wont be disappointed!!

  This property is WONDERFUL! The pictures and description depict very accurately the comfort of this home. The kitchen is well equipped and the lay-out is convenient for cooking a large meal while still being able to visit. Every bed is as amazingly comfortable as the next. Six of us stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my 43rd Birthday… the floor plan allows for a very comfortable family atmosphere. The hot tub was very clean and was an excellent addition to an already perfect weekend. All of the electronics were in working order and easy to navigate. It was great that each room had its own temperature control! YAY! Jessica was an absolute pleasure and VERY accommodating. We cannot wait to come back!

  Comfortable, informal, clean, nicely decorated and furnished. Plenty of seating for meals. Great kitchen. Neighborhood is attractive. We loved it. TVs in Living room, all bedrooms and in room above carriage house.

  We had a wonderful time at the house. Enjoyed all the ammenities available. Walked the beach, used the hot tub and fire pit as well as the BBQ for fresh fish bought off a boat at the bay in Newport. We also enjoyed the park for frisby and the front porch for sipping coffee in the morning and eating at the outside table for dinner. What a wonderful experience. We look forward to a return trip hopefully with our grown kids and grandkids. Thanks for making it so comforatable.

  My family had a terrific relaxing experience at the SandCastle Beach Cottage. The home was very light, airy and well maintained. We enjoyed ourselves from the moment we entered until our departure. The town is just delightful and shopping at the Outlet stores was so much fun. Beautiful beach, and those stairs sure give you a workout!!!! The owners are wonderful to work with and very concerned that their guests have a totally great vacation, which we certainly did. We would come again, that was agreed upon by all!!!

  My wife and I spent a full month in August 2012 at Jessica and Chris's sandcastle vacation rental and had a wonderful time. We have stayed in over 30 different vacation rentals around the US and found this to be one of the best ones. We were not surprised when we got there-everything was just as advertised to us. Not only is the house perfect for a family beach vacation but the location is also great for roaming up and down the coast. We roamed with our children and grandchildren from Florence to Newport to Tillamook to the wine country to the Acquarium to Whale watching, etc. We actually ran out of time with a month. The park and playground directly across the street turned out to be a great addition to the house since we had the grandkids for much of our stay. Jessica was quick to offer to help with our needs and was a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed our vacation so much that we bought our own Oregon Coast beach house for use in the future.
