It's still summer-like at the Beach, but a bit cooler than inland with the ocean breezes. If you missed summer up north you can still get a bit of sun in before your cold weather arrives.
Cape Canaveral is like a little bit of old Florida. It is mostly residential and has a neighborhood feel to it. There are older homes and newer Condo's. The lifestyle is very relaxed and casual. For those of you who prefer not to deal with elevators, parking passes, and "Condo Rules", this is the ideal place for you. Right outside your front door are chairs and a table for your morning coffee. Read the paper and enjoy the people going by - walking, jogging, or riding bicycles. Go ahead and join them - there are 2 beach bikes for your use too.
This spacious 2 bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of a lovingly renovated older home. It is ideal for anyone that has problems with stairs, and has a front and back entrance so unpacking the car and taking in groceries is easy. The living room is an open floor plan to the kitchen and dining area which seats 6 comfortably. Ceramic tile throughout with the exception of carpet in the bedrooms.
It also has the added bonus of a Den with sliding glass doors which open to a small and private patio. The Den is furnished with a desk for your computer hookup, a bookcase with games and books, a stereo for your enjoyment and a reading chair. If you would prefer something smaller in size, please ask me about my 1 bedroom unit.
Around the side of the house is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand after you return from the beach. You'll also find the BBQ grill with charcoal and lighter fluid right outside your back door.
There are beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and an umbrella which you are free to take down to the beach, and probably a fishing rod or two. Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it. If you're lucky you might just see a rocket or Shuttle launch !!

Why the Owner Chose Cape Canaveral
We found ourselves spending more and more weekends at the beach and finally decided to invest in something more than a Hotel Room!!! Because we are not "Condo" people, we chose this 4 Unit apartment building. We decided to keep one Unit for our "get-a-away" and rent out the other three. So far, we've weathered Hurricanes, the stock market and the economy. (There was a reason the Government chose Cape Canaveral for it's Space Center!!!) Cape Canaveral offered a laid back lifestyle, a quiet beach, and friendly neighbors. It truly is a wonderful lifestyle.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
The world's largest swimming pool is just across the street!!! Within minutes are good restaurants and shopping. The best part to us is just relaxing with friends, surf fishing and sunbathing, and knowing the "Condo Police" will not be yelling at us!
Our guests enjoy a Welcome Basket when they arrive, usually filled with coffee, breakfast treats, candy and snacks. Those of you who stay a week or longer will probably get to sample my famous Orange Cake (or Margarita or Strawberry Daiquiri Cake)
You can enjoy yourself in a more relaxed environment with less rules and regulations. No stairs to climb and parking is right outside your front door.
Many Restaurants including Grill's Fishlips, and Milliken's. Charter Fishing Boats, Seafood Markets, Gambling Ships, Public Marinas and Parks. A great place to see Manatees and Dolphins.
